Petr Cech says that Chelsea will make more moves in the transfer window soon.

Hopefully they can get a fit striker.

yeah i hope they add another striker. I prefer david villa, but i dont think he will come to england. I also think Chelsea should've gone after Samuel Eto'o, he will mesh w/ Drogba real well...

they got Sheva and Pizarro back from loan, and they have DiSanto, so i honestly don't think they need more strikers. Yes, they are sub-quality (Sheva is in his twilight of his career) compared to Drogba and Anelka, but they would be good as back-ups. Getting a star striker with the same level would only cause problems in the rotation.

I still honestly believe that the 2007-08 Chelsea team was better than 2008-09 team. Last season, when Drogba was injured, they only had Anelka in the front. The previous season, they had Sheva, Pizarro, and a healthy Joe Cole.

yeah. but di santo was loaned. pizzaro, i close to being loaned out. that leaves them with sheva only. I hope anelka and drogba dont get hit by injuries. hehe anyway, community shield on sunday, it will be aired by Star Sports (or ESPN), 9pm. Go Chelsea!

Sheva returned to his native Kiev, so that leaves Chelsea with no back-up to Drogba and/or Anelka, in case they get injured. They loaned DiSanto, and Pizarro was also shipped back to Bremen. Kalou is a forward-winger, not a striker. So let's jsut hope that Drogba and Anelka stays healthy.

Anyway, I just bought Chelsea's new away kit in Greenhills for P450 (tawad, originally P500) as shown below:

I don't like their home kit. It looks like it has paddings...

if you bought the "Lampard" one, then it is 680. you got a discount so its 650. the one i bought has no player at the back. kilala na ako ng mga football jersey tindera dun. everytime i pass by, they either say "may bago" or "wala pang bago."

anyway, ivanovic is not on loan. probably Carlo Ancelotti dosen't like his style. that's the problem with different managers. they have their own preferred players/rotation. Carvalho and Deco, who were benched by Hiddink and both wanted out of CFC last summer, suddenly got some playing time again. wait till Alex comes back. more problems for the rotation!

    Indeed!

Sir Fergie is becoming a crybaby lately, and I'm slowly losing my respect to him. No offense to Man U fans, but it is true that he's complaining a lot lately.

Can anyone be stripped of his knighthood? ha ha ha!!!
