Regarding bubbles, they should fix it asap. BTW did they use a heat gun when they installed your tints?

BTW, putting holes for side mirrors doesn't look aesthetically pleasing. Though uso ito before. hehehe.
Yes, they told me that most customers do not put holes. Hindi daw uso. But I just had 2 holes cut kasi I do need them. Complaint ko lang is the left or driver's side. Sa right kasi they placed a bowl and let me select the location where the hole should be cut. But on the left or driver;s side ninut nila without my knowing it and pinantay nila sa right so I have to lean forward to see the side mirror in full.

Regarding the rear. Nobody puts hole in it daw. Of course if I wanted it they will cut it. Yung rear mirror ko kasi medyo low visibility kapag umaatras ako. I got those reversing signal indicator naman but I prefer to see how I am doing.

Bubbles reduced maybe because parking ko dito open. They reiterated may curing time talaga but . . .

. . . NO, they did not use any form of heater.

Is 3M much better than solargard? So far OK mukhang naman ang solargard but I have not compared it with 3M. Price-wise pareho yata.

happened to me too. i can have it removed naman diba? and changed with the 3M magic dark i have on the rest of my windows right?

    Slamm,

Yup its glossy black. Total privacy, excellent heat rejection and excellent visibility. I should have installed them instead of Platinum. Konti na lang difference.

    klonoa,

Yup you can yank it out and have a new, one piece tint job done. Thats what i intend to do when the budget comes around.

    Jason10,

    Thanks for the info.

Heat is pretty harsh nowadays. Whereas before we could tolerate having no tint on our rides all year round, now i cannot even stand the midday heat without tint upfront.

I never thought I would one day have my windshield tinted pero yes, iba ang init ngayon. I went back to have a visor placed on top of the tint. So far OK naman as compared to the 2 years I lived with the old tinit. If I could really compare 3M or other brands, I may replace the front tint. Kahit na VKool siguro if I can really see the difference (and if worth it ang cost). Looking back, Sana sides lang muna pina-tint ko and save pa konti for vkool sa front. Maybe the front vkool will cost more than 4 side windows and rear window on solargard.

just got my car tinted kanina. and daming bubbles. when i called Honda, sabi nila normal lang daw. after 3 days daw mawawala din basta wag buksan bintana. oh well.. countdown na..

  7. #27
    I go for V-kool.

Quite pricey but definitely worth it. Even after parking from 10pm to 2pm under the sun, the interior of the car will feel, er, kool.

^ Solargard for dark tints and V-kool for clear tints. Etong dalawa yung pinakasulit

nagpa tint ako sa auto friend sa banawe this afternoon 3M brand cost me 3.6k, super black sa side at rear tapos medium black sa front, so far so good, maliwanag pa rin sa gabi kasi nga naka medium lang sa front, the good thing hindi ka talaga kita sa loob

    Guys quick question:

For the Platinum brand, does anyone know the correct name for the darkest possible shade with reflective/silver colour on the outside?

    TIA!

You'll never go wrong with Vkool. It may be on the pricey side but it sure is worth it. 3M is also good and is usually cheaper than Vkool.

Mahal. But its worth it. Thats what I have on the SUV. The others (cars) its 3M super black. When the vehicles were released from the casa, they have a free tint. Black tints and all, nakow, after two months nag fade na. Well, its free I think hahahaha.

Drive safe and happy motoring everyone.

Windshields are around P1,200 give or take. Laminate your LTO sticker and just keep if safe somewhere inside the car.

3K pala sa Honda magpakabit ng tint sa WINDSHIELD palang. mahal ba to? or ganun talaga price. also, di ko alam if how dark maganda. kasi ayoko na nakikita ako from outside pero ayoko naman makapatay sa gabi. yung di ako kita sa labas pero safe naman sa gabi..

Also yung LTO sticker ko nadikit ko na sa windshield... papatungan ba nila yun or what? pano sya tatanggalin after 3 years pag expired na yung sticker?

For what car and what type of windshield?

3M Magic neutral is a good type which adjusts at night; cost me around 1.5K in Banawe for our Innova a couple of years back.

^cr-v.. na black eh. so parang pangit ata pag magic? diba parang silver yun?
