Chili-Peppers along Valero nga is definitely good! Lahat ng in-order ko dun so far ay di ako na-disappoint. I love the Sweet Chops, Bangus and Crispy Sisig nila! Da best!

another one i like is Greens...behind Taste of LA sa QC
i tried greens before and i found the food very disappointing, everything is just so bland. even their pumpkin soup is weird, tastes somewhat like boiled pumpkin

btw, i'm no vegan, just to help put things in perspective

Nakakatawa na sana ng konti yung “Extra Rice, Please!!!” except for:

"10. Ang red tide ay hindi nakakamatay. Itanong ninyo sa mga kumakain sa karinderya."

Of course you'd use the usual excuse of "it was written in jest" or "don't you know what satire is?" BS but I'd like you to prove this personally in YouTube.

I tried the Parmesan Crusted White Fish and my wife had the Adobo Pasta (IIRC). The fish was great and it's really good for two. The pasta had lots of very tender adobo pieces and it tasted closer to salpicao because of the amount of garlic they used (which to us garlic addicts is a good thing).

We had the Scarlet Cake for desert and it was "different". The color and texture reminded us of pan-de-regla. The sweet icing and generous amount of cocoa powder balanced the somewhat bland cake.

Overall we found it good value for money. We're definitely going back to try out their other offerings
Tried Cookbook Kitchen, last weekend and food is great. It's really hidden and it's in the 2nd corner of Luna Mencias (Socorro Fernandez) before reaching Shaw Blvd.

We ordered the Parmesian crusted white fish @Php260

Chops Pizzaiola, grilled pork chop in chunky stewed tomato w italian herbs and spices. @Php230

and the moist chocolate cake @Php130

Drinks are priced @50 for their iced tea, 50 for SMB light, 45 for Coke

Will definitely go back and try their CBK Chicken, Pork Steak with honey mustard sauce and other desserts.

Service and place is highly recommended. They're open form 11am to 2pm and 7pm to 10pm.

    Abbondanza

First resto at the top of my head is Abbondanza. Not really sure you'd consider it a "hidden" restaurant, but I only found out about it recently and never heard my other friends/family mention it.

It's along San Miguel Ave., Ortigas. It's an Italian resto and let me tell you, ang sarap ng pizza!!! This is the perfect type of pizza for me, thin and medyo crunchy crust and each bite is very flavorful.

    Check it out, with menu:

I looked up Cookbook Kitchen on this website too and was pleasantly surprised that they have it. Maraming reviews din dito, original AND blog reviews. Cool.

Likha Diwa along C.P. Garcia Ave near UP Diliman.

This is just a small, vegetarian restaurant.I'm not vegetarian pero i super love their food.

Most fave: Pasta Aliguetti, Cheeseticks (with bellpepper inside) with salsa dip. They have this dish with eggplant and it tastes super nice.
Meron din silang mga meat-like eklavush. It's interesting!

Ambience is very relaxed. I can still remember my college years...tambay lang...yosi...review for an exam here.I got an uno for my geog exam once when I reviewed my readings here. Dito yung tipong kahit mag-isa ka lang sa table, di dyahe. Very calm and peaceful siya for me kahit na katabi siya ng kalsada.Mahirap nga lang parking.
