in fairness to bagoong club, their deconstructed okoy and sinigang sa bayabas is good.

otherwise, i agree, the food is blaahhh.

    mabilis lang ang wi-fi.

So I ordered Katsudon [comes with free miso soup and bean sprouts stir fried in sesame oil] (P210) and Yakisoba (P140).

The food here reminds me of those little restos in Little Tokyo and Japanese-owned restos on Buendia Avenue near Taft Avenue. Cooked just right with the good flavors intact. Ingredients are fresh and high quality.

I'll come back for the sukiyaki and gyoza.

Not really a big fan of anything fried especially pork. Katsudon was an exception because I like beaten eggs in a dish.

  14. #534
i love tonkatsuya too, i find their tonkatsus really authentic. di puro breading lang at matigas na karne.

Namimiss ko na yung Chinese restaurant near Rockwell, in the residential area. No signage at all. Only point of reference is a neighborhood parlor (as in parlor talaga, hindi salon). It made me feel I was doing something illegal when I ate there, haha. We were the only Pinoys, the rest were old Chinese men. It's so hidden that I don't even remember how to get there again.

it has two branches. the other is at green valley, pasig. yes, its a cooffeeshop but it serves chinese, continnental, filipino, malaysian, korean, pastries, singaporean, and thai food. image a coffeeshop that serves halo-halo. operating hours is from 7:00am - 2:00am.

Correct. Basil nga ang name. It's good but a bit pricey and the portions weren't that big. Ambience is great though.
