Question for UP grads, did anybody try to preenlist? Sabi kasi nung friend ko na 1 batch higher pwede daw. Eh hindi ko naman alam kung anong classes itetake.

nung time namin. sinearch lang namin yung "law" sa crs. sakto namang 6 na subjects lang lumabas dun so pinreenlist namin kung saang section kami naka-assign. kahit naman hindi ka magpreenlist at pumunta ka sa enrollment nang blank ang form5a, hindi ka naman mawawalan ng subjects.

hindi pa ata kayo makakapreenlist dahil wala pa namang blocks, kahit lumabas dun ang subjects, hindi mo naman alam kung anong section ang pipiliin

UP Law First Semester Registration Bulletin No. 1 (A.Y. 2012-2013)
May 22, 2012

1. First year to third year students will be BLOCKED. Third year students will return to their freshman blocks as per results of the survey conducted by their batch reps. The Office of the College Secretary will release the block schedules and other subjects sometime next week.

2. There is no need to pre-enlist via CRS. The Registration Committee (RegCom) and the LSG, with the assistance of the OCS, will enlist the students 2 days prior to the Registration Days. Please don't forget to print your form 5A after 5pm on June 5.

3. Fourth year students and above shall enlist their subjects via MANUAL ENLISTMENT on the Registration Days. Proxy enlistment through the batchreps, regcom, or any LSG members will not be allowed, but proxies by students will be limited to one proxy per student. Students who wish to be proxied should:
a.) notify their batchreps via sms which should include the name of their proxy, and;
b.) give their proxies an authorization letter which contains their name and student number.

4. Registration Schedule
JUNE 4 and 5 - RegCom and LSG will enlist students in their blocked schedules
JUNE 6 - First Year and 4th Year and above
JUNE 7 - Third Year
JUNE 8 - Second Year and Free for All

5. Irregular Students' (with back subjects, need to underload or overload, issues with grades, etc.) concerns will be addressed to and by the College Secretary. Please submit to your batchreps the list of back subjects and other deficiencies you wish to take in order to somehow forecast the demand for these subjects.

6. The Registration process will be released next week.

I'm going to take the evening section for my first year in law school. If I resign before my 2nd year and will have to take day classes, will I be assigned to any of the blocks in the morning (A,B,C,D and E)? Thanks.

As far as i know, YES. One student can change class status for two times for the span of their whole stay in UP COL. Evening-Day-Evening, Day-Evening-Day. Anyone can correct me on this though.



OT: DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANYONE WHO STILL DOES NOT HAVE A PLACE TO STAY IN UP? I HAPPEN TO RENT A CONDO UNIT IN OLD BALARA (WALKING DISTANCE FROM UP, MAGSAYSAY GATE). SOFIA BELLEVUE IS THE PLACE. 36 SQM. RENT IS 4K AT MOST INCLUDING WATER AND ELEC BILLS. HOPE TO HAVE REFERRALS SOON. SALAMAT PO.

I'd rather not answer your question. LOL. Law school life is one heck of a roller coaster ride. Anything could happen! But I will give you an answer after I've taken the Bar (if you're still interested to know though).
