    Talking driver/guide

    hi there!

how much is airport to city?
how about public transpo, how much is the minimum fare etc.
where do you recommend to eat lunch or dinner?

    thanks in advance

    ^^ ano yung mandalay flights?

na-realize ko pala na ang ganda pala ng myanmar. hindi ko sana plan puntahan to kasi nakapag-cambodia na ako, but seeing all the pics and blogs here, i realized na mali pala ako, hehe. sana magka-seat sale ang airasia next year!

  5. #165
^Huh? I think Mandalay is a city in Myanmar din, city nga ba?

Taxi from airport to city cost MMK15,000. or US$5, yung ibang hostel may free airport pick up.

Aside from Shwedagon Pagoda and nearby temples, ano pa mga sights sa Yangon that you can recommend? thanks!

    hello. how are you guys?
we'll be flying to Yangon in less than a month. here is our itinerary.

day one- arrive 5:30pm via airasia
    day two-
    day three-
day four- leave yangon at 6:05

my question is, i know we are short of time, but is it still possible to push for bagan? like day two bus to bagan, day three or four go back to yangon?

do you know the time table for buses? thank you

Super tight yung schedule mo... Yangon to Bagan is at least 15hrs per way if I am not mistaken.

Suggest you just stay in the surrounding area in Bagan.

Do you mean the bus from "Bagan to "Yangon" and vice versa? I also needed the same info but I'm not sure if someone can answer that question here. But check on this blog, http://www.ironwulf.net/2012/05/23/1...travel-budget/, this is where I base my IT.

    Parang kulang ka sa time. Based on research lang to ha, but you need at least 10-15 for the bus travel. But kung gusto mo talaga;

    Day 1 - 5:30PM Arrival at Yangon
Day 2 - Yangon to Bagan, arrive in the evening in Bagan
Day 3 - Bagan tour (whole day)
Day 3 - Leave Bagan to Yangon in the evening (that is if me evening bus)
Day 4 - Arrival in Yangon in the morning

Conclusion:It's kinda risky knowing that we don't know the bus schedules. It's quite tiring as well. But if budget is not an issue, I've heard there are flights (chartered planes i guess) from Yangon to Bagan. Happy trip, balitaan mo kami.

oh its really risky. what i have to do i guess is go to the bus station as soon as i arrive. if I get a bus on the first day, then its good. but if not, will just have to spend the entire trip in yangon.
