I saw the trailer in SM Sta. Mesa. I'm hoping sa ibang malls na din papalabas na ito. Kilig!

I loved the film! Pinaiyak ako ng todo. [spoiler start]Lalo na yung scene na sinabi ni Summer na "I found out what I was not sure of you". Sapul ng todo si Tom.[spoiler end]
JGL and Zooey Deschanel were great!
The movie was good. I think that many people can relate to the story. And also, I love the soundtrack.
I love them pirates ... I mean how will we be able to watch movies like The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Ponyo, Far From Heaven, About Schmidt, Frost/Nixon, and many other films? And you know in the Philippines its not stealing ... because how can we steal if it doesn't exist?
On a related note I noticed in clickthecity that there is a page for 500 Days of Summer. It looks like an indication that the movie will be released soon.
i can't get over this movie.. happy, sad, mixed emotions... of course the best is feeling of being in love![]()
^^i agree. it has a lot everything which is why i think everyone liked it.
It doesn't exist - then why are audiences not only in the US but also the UK and other major movie-going countries lining up and applauding its cliche-free sublimety?
Movies are considered intellectual property - and like its tangible cousin, they are protected with rights.
I'm no hypocrite here...I'd gladly get a pirated copy of Hayao Miyazaki's latest masterpiece Ponyo primarily because no distributor is willing to take the risk and release it in local movie theaters.
If you are patient enough, you can also wait for the cable premieres of quality films (thank God for Star Movies)...or buy the official DVDs from outlets like Astroplus.

500 Days of Autumn will never be the same than this movie if ever meron ulit.
Ganda. Napakatotoo nitong movie.
Nice soundtrack! I'm listening to the whole album right now.
I have already watched this movie. I have downloaded a workprint torrent around two weeks ago. I agree the story, really happen in real life meaning that "Summer is not just a girl, but an event.
Also, if you check clickthecity.com, it says that this will be shown Oct 21. I just hope that it will be shown nationwide because I am here in Cebu. And also the soundtrack is good, Zooey Deschanel's band covering The Smiths' Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want.
Yup I'd have to agree. The soundtrack's really good.
I saw this 2 weeks ago when I was stranded in the office due to Ondoy. Damn, buti na lang marami akong kasama nun. Or else, I would have cried buckets! Galing.
I'm very happy that they are finally showing it na here in the Philippines. I would gladly watch it again in the cinema.
