HINDI nagdalawang-isip ang malalaking singers na sumali sa binubuong mala-We Are the World o Live Aid na awitin ni Ogie Alcasid na magiging official theme song ng Kaya Natin Ito fundraising concert ng OPM artists para sa mga kababayan nating nabiktima ng mga bagyong Ondoy at Pepeng.

Kabilang sa mga nakapag-recording na para sa Kaya Natin Ito sina Sharon Cuneta, Zsa Zsa Padilla, KC Concepcion, Piolo Pascual, Mark Bautista, Christian Bautista, Erik Santos, Jed Madela, Rachelle Ann Go, Karylle, Charice, Jaya, Kyla, Nina, Sitti, Viktoria, Vina Morales, Jolina Magdangal, Lovi Poe, Randy Santiago, Dingdong Avanzado, Rachel Alejandro, Geneva Cruz, Gino Padilla, Kris Lawrence, Chris Cayzer, Wency Cornejo, Freestyle at La Diva.

Si Regine Velasquez ang nagprisintang maging vocal coach. Si JayR ang sound technician at ang sariling recording studio nito ang ginamit. Si Rico Blanco ay nakalikha na agad ng kanta, ang Bangon na ang ganda ng lyrics.

Idea nina Ogie Alcasid, Rowell Santiago at talent manager Girlie Rodis ang nasabing fundraising concert.

Originally ay Nobyembre 14 dapat ito sa Araneta Coliseum pero dahil gahol na sa oras ay naging Disyembre 5 na ito sa SM-MOA Concert Grounds.

Si Direk Dante Nico Garcia ay aligaga sa pag-shoot ng music video ng Kaya Natin Ito tampok ang napakaraming celebrities.

Nangangalap din sila ng pictures ng ipinapauso nilang hand sign (nakapatong ang kanang kamao sa kaliwang dibdib at ang kaliwang kamay ay nakapatong sa balikat ng katabi).

Bumuo sina Direk Ga ng ‘Kaya Natin Ito’ fan page sa Facebook. Ang sabi niya sa post niya, “I need a photo of at least a thousand Filipinos (who believe in helping fellow Filipinos recover from Ondoy) doing this hand sign for the music video of Kaya Natin Ito.

“Bongga pag nasa abroad ka at distinct na tourist spot sa lugar mo ang background. Please send it to isda_revolution@yahoo.com. Paki*pasa na rin sa mga kakilala mo. Maraming sa*lamat!”

Gagawa raw sila ng isang ‘human chain’ mula sa mga larawang ‘yon at isasama nila ito sa music video ng Kaya Natin Ito.

Hinihikayat ang lahat (kahit nasaan mang panig ng daigdig) na i-email ang photos nila para masama sa nasabing proyekto.
