^ The ERDT schools are qualified because of their "mature" engineering programs not because of things "we may never know".

    To quote:
ERDT is a consortium of universities that offer mature engineering graduate courses: Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, Mapua Institute of Technology, the Central Luzon State University, San Carlos University, the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology, and the University of the Philippines-Diliman. A recent addition to the consortium is UP Los Baños.

If it is, then we may consider Central Luzon State University as a top school.

Wala rin ang Silliman University, St. Louis University, other UP campuses, Ateneo de Davao, and many other reputable universities in the country.

Maybe these universities simply didn't availed themselves of this grant. We may never know.
FYU, UPD and UPLB are the only UP campuses that offer engineering courses. They are both members of the ERDT consortium.

Hmmm ang top 5 ko ay

    1. UP- superb talaga sila sa research tsaka sa board exams, tsaka sobrang dami ng engineering courses sa kanila..superb talaga wala na ako masabi, in my opinion, school talaga ng mga henyo/sobrang talino to hehe,

    2. Mindanao state University- IIT.

    3. U.S.T.

    4. C.I.T

    5. Hindi ko alam eh

    6. PUP- dahil dito ako nag aaral hehe,

^^ lol. Masyado namang papuri yan Roll-Heinel. While its true na maraming magaling sa UP Engg, marami ding bulakbol at di karapat dapat. Yung mga bulakbol at masyadong bilib sa mga sarili ang usually nasasala at napapatalsik ng UP Engg during their freshman and sophomore years. lol.

  6. #46
^^ lol, oo nga *** nu, sabagay hehe..hehe may nakasabay kasi akong 2 UP eng student dati ang bilis nilang magsolve haha tintingnan ko yung problem ang hirap haha di ko masosolve yun ng ganon kabilis, kaya masyado ko napuri UP hehe

^^ lol. Tama ba sagot nila dun sa problem? hehehe.. Like I said madami talagang magaling sa UP. Siguro ang strength ng UP Engg eh yung understanding namin ng basic concepts, pagbalibaliktarin mo man yung tanong at application, kayang sagutin pa din.

  8. #48
^^ haha **** tama talaga eh pakiramdam ko tama haha, nakita ko *** checking eh sakto hehe. muntik pa ako lumagpas sa babaan ko dahil lang dun haha..taga UP ka nu?hehe,

Really? I think its under the School of Technology.

    Thanks for the correction.

The issue here is not whether the school has engineering programs or none at all. It's about how well-developed the school's engineering programs are to qualify as a DOST-ERDT school of choice.

^ lol. Ayan galit na si tophe. hehehe.. I think ERDT covers the graduate engineering program. UST has a "well-developed" engineering undergraduate program but its graduate program is non-existent thats why it doesnt qualify as a member of the consortium. Di naman fixed ang number of members, ERDT will and can add new schools if necessary.

Even if Im from UP, I dont think UPLB should be on the list.
Kelangan fair at kitang kita naman sa board results for the past 8 years.

    1- UP-Diliman / DLSU (tie)
    2-Mapua
    3-MSU
    4-Adamson

Yup, I agree with you. Mas magaling pa nga ang Mapua sa Ateneo pag dating sa engineering e.
