GEOX shoes: Have you heard of this brand?

Do you think their technology is really effective? I went inside their Trinoma store today and thought of buying. Their saleslady explained to me that the membrane in their shoes eliminates the odor coming from our feet. What do you guys think?

Where have you been these past few years? You only knew the brand just now?

    Geox are ok.

  3. #3
curious lang din po anyone who have tried geox shoes, does it really works?

  4. #4
    Will use it to swim?

Shoes (not only Geox) that are perforated really minimize it from smelling but if you do have smelly feet, you got to use foot starch.

    mejo me kamahalan sya.

pero ok naman. mejo boring nga lang ang style.

I know this brand. Seen their products. Are they any good?

  7. #7
    yes, they're good.
not all people wear them because they have smelly feet, but for comfort.

  8. #8
Most of their models are ugly.

    Ugh.

    Double-ugh.

Only a few look ok. Looks like Rockport.

Any properly made leather shoe will breathe, provided you allow a day between wearings.

That special semi-permeable membrane is probably fine for those in dry or temperate climates. But let's how well that membrane works when you've stepped in a puddle in the men's room here in the humid, muggy Philippine tropics.

    I see. Thanks!

Besides, they advertise in VOGUE. So I guess that should help with their marketing.

eh magkano ba ang conversion ng euro at peso? based on the latest exchange rates, one euro is equal to about 66 philippine pesos. go figure...

  16. #16
    4300?

still Php700 is big price difference.

hmmm, i thought you volunteered the information about the price range of 60 to 120 euros for a pair of geox shoes in italy.

the low end retails for 60 euros, so 60 (66)=PhP3,960. not bad. now for the high end: 120 (66)=PhP7,920, sa maikling salita, doble ng low end. so the PhP5,000 minimum price being sold here falls within the price range in italy, and most probably throughout europe.

makes me wonder how you arrived at PhP4,300

^never bothered to compute...lolz...just estimated (i always convert at 70 kasi yan ang nakasanayan kong rate, coz normally nasa 68-72 naman ang euros, then hayaan na ang barya-barya ). kaya nga may question mark

havent seen the geox shop in manila. i just thought kung 5000 ang pinakamura sa manila, yon din ang pinakamurang counterpart nila sa italy.

tsaka italy is not the cheapest place to buy stuff in europe. in fact, it's one of the most expensive places for clothes. mura pa rin sa germany. i remember, yong Nike sneakers na binili ko sa italy, i saw the same thing in berlin, cheaper by 20 euros. same with Zara, a shirt that costs 20EUR in italy, i was able to get it at 13EUR in germany.

medyo adventurous ang design ng geox and i thought hindi pa ako ready for any radical change in fashion kaya hindi ko binili

Ang alam ko made in Italy ito. May gusto akong bagong design nito sa Glorietta branch but its like 7K and kakatapos lang ng Christmas lol

Parang mid-cut na almost square-toed style siya, Chukka ba tawag dun?
