Edge: Star Cinema Vs Gma Films Vs Regal Films Vs Viva Films

Napaguusapan lang din naman ang EDGE EDGE na yan, PEXERS, ano sa tingin nyo ang EDGE ng bawat film producer sa isa't isa?

    Star Cinema:
    - HUGE POOL of TALENT (from preprod, prod and post prod)
    - Income generating materials
    - Experience in producing quality and profitable movies for 15 years
    - MULTIMEDIA promo plus AIRTIME
    - Wide reach among the public
    - positive image for producing family friendly movies
    - knows the market well. In fact, they created a trend that other prods follow.
    - Roadrunner network
    - International Screenings

    Regal Films:
    - Can accomodate all actors, no network biases (ok, more of 40-ABS, 60-GMA)
    - Has RMM, MaQ, Gold Harvest
    - Been in the business for decades
    - GAMBLES on movies they make
    - can advertise on both large TV stations

    Viva Films:
    - can tie up with Star Cinema and GMA Films
    - has a good roster of talents (Anne Curtis, Sarah Geronimo etc)
    - Been in the business for decades
    - Viva Digital
    - Viva International
    - Videocity
    - Can promote on both large TV network

    GMA Films:
    - backed up by a TV station
    - tie ups with Viva and Regal
    - Has its own roster of talents, but no homegrown directors
    - Before year 2000, GMA Films has been producing quality movies. But since they revived the film outfit, they have been catering to consumer friendly movies that generate income, but the quality has depleted.

    OctoArts Films:
    - tie up with M-Zet for the Enteng Franchise
    - no network affiliations
    - wala na ako maisip eh :P
