ako po, minsa naglalaro haha. Minsan lang. Sobrang late na ko bumili ng ps2 e. Mga 2011 haha. Tapos dahil lang sa Kingdom Hearts at Final Fantasy tsaka Yakuza

Though after I bought my ps2 I found out na may ps2 emulator pala for pc haha.

Playing PS2 games give me a satisfying feeling. There's no DLC crap floating around somewhere, you have the complete game right there, period. As long as you have a working console, you don't have to worry about your DLC dying with your account if it ever gets banned, hacked, stolen or deleted...or if PSN or Live dies someday.

I just feel like I actually own the game. Nowadays, I feel like all the new games I buy has the company's fingers still entrenched around it thanks to DLC.

Yeah, grabe na nga ngayon, parang talagang yung game disc is just a "license" for you to play the game, not really own it. Tapos yung mga DLC na obvious na dinagdag na lang para pagkakitaan ang mga gamers. Ano baaaaaaaaa. Rip-off lang.

DLC is Downloadable Content. So 'di ba may disc ka na binili mo, using the internet pwede ka magdownload ng dagdag na contents sa PS3/Xbox 360 mo. Since hindi naman writable ang disc, dun sya sa mismong console mo naka-save, tas naka-link sya sa account mo (so sa PS3: PS Network). Think of it as updates/patches etc for the game.

Ang magandang paggamit sa DLC:
- Added content, like new missions, new levels, new items/costumes, new characters, etc.

Ang hindi magandang paggamit sa DLC:
- Same as above. Pero ang pinagkaiba, alam mong ginagawa na lang sya ng game companies to force you to buy things (with REAL money) that *should* have been with the game disc itself. Now the *should* term is arbitrary, pero mapapansin mo naman agad yung mga obvious: a character/mission that is included in the game disc but can only be unlocked by purchasing them.


Ayun. Kahit na maganda sana na laging na-u-update/laging may nadadagdag sa isang game, kung parang na-sca-scam ka naman... Nakakawalang gana. Meh.

Kaya nakakamiss din ang PS2 games, kasi alam mong lahat nandun na. Yun nga lang, static yung games, walang madadagdag.
