Though after I bought my ps2 I found out na may ps2 emulator pala for pc haha.

pero for me mas masaya naman maglaro ng console game gamit ang TV. Haha. Iba pa rin ang controller kasi. :P

I just feel like I actually own the game. Nowadays, I feel like all the new games I buy has the company's fingers still entrenched around it thanks to DLC.

Yeah, SFXTekken is the reason why I posted this.
Yeah, grabe na nga ngayon, parang talagang yung game disc is just a "license" for you to play the game, not really own it. Ano baaaaaaaaa. Rip-off lang.

Some quotes from the web to show the general direction gaming is going.

"Selling a game only once for $70-$80 [typical Japanese prices] is no good at all. If you sell it for $25, or even give it away free, then you can sell episodes and items online. They’ll soon be dropping $10 or $20 on these, and you can also do monthly charges."
    - Namco CEO Shukuo Ishikawa
(The original link seems to have vanished. It was working yesterday. Baka tinaggal nila since it gave Namco some bad P.R. I hope this won't apply to Tekken X SF)

"The video games industry has to learn to operate in a different way. My answer is for us as publishers is to actually sell unfinished games – and to offer the consumer multiple micro-payments to buy elements of the full experience."
    -Codemasters CEO Rod Cousens

Anyone know where I can still buy an original copy of Okami for PS2?

DLC is Downloadable Content. So 'di ba may disc ka na binili mo, using the internet pwede ka magdownload ng dagdag na contents sa PS3/Xbox 360 mo. Since hindi naman writable ang disc, dun sya sa mismong console mo naka-save, tas naka-link sya sa account mo (so sa PS3: PS Network). Think of it as updates/patches etc for the game.

    Ang magandang paggamit sa DLC:
    - Added content, like new missions, new levels, new items/costumes, new characters, etc.

Ang hindi magandang paggamit sa DLC:
    - Same as above. Pero ang pinagkaiba, alam mong ginagawa na lang sya ng game companies to force you to buy things (with REAL money) that *should* have been with the game disc itself. Now the *should* term is arbitrary, pero mapapansin mo naman agad yung mga obvious: a character/mission that is included in the game disc but can only be unlocked by purchasing them.

Ayun.

And don't forget the most awful DLC trend of all.

Or you can buy yung PSN cards sa DataBlitz. Kelangan ng internet din... Ayun.

Tsaka Persona 3 and 4. Well 4 talaga, kasi yung Persona 3 may PSP version naman hehe.

Magkakaroon na ng Persona 4 Golden for Vita

I still play PS2 though; trying to finish Final Fantasy X and XII. After that try ko rin X-2.

Oh talaga, sa Vita? Waah. Bat sa Vitaaa. Naman eh. Haha.

I liked X and XII. Sabaw ang story ng X-2, pero I liked the battle mechanics nya. ATB done mostly right. Hehe.

    Napagayat? Anong meaning nun? Hehe

Eh di ba yung International Zodiac japanese sya? Pano mo mababasa? Or may option ba like FFX International na magpalit palit?
