    designers' bags

question lang... how will one know if the bag is an original or an imitation?

  2. #2
Do you have a specific brand in mind? Guidelines vary from every brand to another..

  3. #3
One thing to ensure that you are buying legit is buying it from their store.

  4. #4
Yes, go to the designer's boutiques. With that, you'll know the difference....

well, an aunt gave me a LV bag. and she specifically said na tunay yan... but when i use it, everybody is asking me if it is real... so i am having second thought tuloy kung tunay yun or hindi...

    Instructions
    Difficulty: Easy
    Steps

    1Step One
Inspect the leather and the stitching. If there are loose threads or missing stitches, it's a sure sign of a fake handbag. Louis Vuitton only makes the highest quality purses and you'll never find these types of poor quality on a real Louis Vuitton purse.

    2Step Two
Be realistic about pricing. If it seems to good to be true it is. Louis Vuitton does not sell defective merchandise or second grade bags at discount pricing. So if someone is offering to sell you a brnad new bag for 50 or 60 percent off claiming they are factory seconds it is a lie.

    3Step Three
A real louis vuitton handbag will have the all the momogram LV's facing down on one side of the bag. If you turn the bag around the other side should have all the monogram LV's facing up. Beware of buyers especially on auction websites that only show a picture of one side of the handbag. Always ask for additional pictures of both front and back of bag to verify the direction of the monogramming.

I agree with the stitching thing. Its a dead giveaway that its fake.

Plus- there are no overruns or defects in LV for sale

uyyy guys share ko lang one of my French friend told me that some parts and even some designer bags are also made in China like LV,Chanel,Gucci. I was really shocked sabi ko sa kanya baka niloloko nya lang ako kasi as far as I know those brands are strictly made in France or Italy only. He works po kasi in the French consulting company who acts as a middle man between French desinger labels and Chinese factories. Do you think its true guys?

Thank you for emphasizing the 'step 2 rule'. Louis Vuitton, by all means, never let their defective bags out of their factory, they make sure that the defectives were being destroyed before they dispose it. They never made any garage sale on their bags ok....

It's true some luxury labels are outsourcing labor from China just to cut cost, but most of the materials came from Europe though.

i disagree that LV have theirs made in china bec my aunt in the US had her trunk custom made and LV rep from france personally called her up to give an upadate about it and after waiting for 8 months for the trunk, LV Paris shipped it directly to LV store in NY and it cost her $4,800 for it...

does this mean that if my LV bag have its monogram both side facing up, then my LV is not real?
