CIA Agent: At least you can talk! Who are you?
Bane: It doesn't matter who we are... what matters is our plan. No one cared who I was until I put on the mask.
CIA Agent: [Pulls hood off to reveal Bane] If I pull that off, will you die?
Bane: It would be extremely painful...
CIA Agent: You're a big guy.
Bane: ...for you.
I'm a Marvel fan pero ok lang kung malampasan ng DKR ang Avengers sa box office As usual, Batman always saves the day for DC...
This concerns two films (and two of my anticipated films this year) so I'm posting this on each of their respective threads:
‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Pushes ‘The Bourne Legacy’ Back A Week
Universal has just moved the release of The Bourne Legacy back one week from August 3 to August 10. The official reason? They’re scared of The Dark Knight Rises. Seriously. Read the statement below.
Here’s the statement from Universal:
Just as THE AVENGERS demonstrated marketplace sustainability that well outpaced traditional patterns earlier this summer, the industry expects a similar trajectory for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Moving one week further from its release will give THE BOURNE LEGACY an even greater opportunity to maximize its opening box office potential. Moving to August 10 will also allow us to extend valuable promotion for the film across all NBCUniversal platforms during the Olympics, which will dominate television and digital audiences beginning July 27. We are excited about this new chapter in our BOURNE franchise and confident that August 10 is the right date for our film and for our industry as a whole.
In comparison with anything except "The Avengers," "The Dark Knight Rises" looks like a blockbuster. Its "definite interest" and "first choice" figures are even slightly higher than those of 2009's "The Dark Knight," which opened to $158.4 million. The people who have seen the data expect that "The Dark Knight Rises" will have a massive opening of more than $150 million and could approach the "Avengers" record.
Naka reserve na ako ng ticket sa SM North! Can't wait! 2 weeks na lang!
^ I couldn't believe that finally, after 4 years of daunting wait, we could finally watch it in just 2 more weeks of wait. and yes, my IMAX tickets are ready Excited much
Batman Protects His City In New Dark Knight Rises IMAX Poster
Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises is aiming to set records at both the domestic and international box office on July 20th, but it's already shattered a record. About an hour of the film's runtime was shot using IMAX cameras (that's about a third of the full movie), which is far more than what Brad Bird did with Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and what Nolan himself did while making The Dark Knight. If it's available in your area than IMAX is real way to see new Batman flick and now there's a poster to celebrate it.
Warner Bros. and IMAX have released an awesome new one-sheet promoting the film's showings in IMAX theaters. It's a poster unlike anything we've seen so far for the movie and is quite awesome. Check it out below and click on the image to see it full size in our Database.
The Dark Knight Rises is Christopher Nolan's final Batman film, rounding out the trilogy that began with Batman Begins in 2005. The upcoming film sees Batman (Christian Bale) go up against the legendary Bane (Tom Hardy) and introduces Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) to the series. Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine will all return in their roles from the previous movies and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple and Josh Pence all have supporting parts in the new one.
Malapit na! Highly anticipated talaga si Batman!
Christopher Nolan Promises a ‘True Conclusion’ with ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
In just two short weeks, The Dark Knight Rises will hit theaters nationwide, bringing an end to Christopher Nolan’s critically acclaimed Batman trilogy and delivering this summer’s second epic superhero film.
While we’ve known for a while that The Dark Knight Rises will be Christopher Nolan’s final Batman film, based on a new interview, it looks like the director has something really special planned to wrap up his series.
mrboy007, since TDKR isn't in 3D, di din 3D ang imax sa North tama ba? Im planning to get tickets din in SM North kasi.
Naalala ko tuloy noong nanuod kami ng TDK way back 2008 sa Gateway, I wasn't expecting anything from the movie since it's just a superhero movie (di ko pa din napanuod ang BB that time) then after the movie, I left the cinema wanting more! And in 2 weeks from now mapapanuod na natin ang final epic conclusion ng The Dark Knight Rises!
Damn! I wanna watch it after our exam! Sayang ang delayed ng screening sa lugar namin!
but I am so gonna watch this one!
