What do you think of some of the reactions to the trailer, na some are just not really into the film anymore, despite of the two great films that came before and of course, the direction of Chris Nolan? Do the depressing tone really turn people off, or do every comic book film really need to be awesome looking and loaded with money shots and effects/action scenes?

The dark/gritty tone doesn't turn me off, but when compared to what The Avengers gave us, there's not a lot of people who can fully appreciate superhero films of this type. It just doesn't give you a good feeling afterwards.

I don't care about the dark tone of this movie. I think okay ang ganito para hindi mahalintulad sa "bright" feel ng Avengers.

And besides, ganito naman talaga ang story ng Batman. Dark, depressing, serious... nakakabit na kay batman lahat yan

This is exactly why I like Batman, especially Nolan's take on his character and story. It may not give you the usual light feeling that you typically get after watching popcorn superhero flicks, but it gives you more; it transcends you to a greater emotional journey. Wow, just wow

OMG! Ang tagal pa ng July!

For me, this is how Batman should always be: dark. Mr. Nolan really nailed it.

The only time I liked a colorful and light Batman was during Adam West's time.

unfortunately it wasn't going to be marion cotillard but a lot of comic book fans are calling her a liar. anywayz, I don't care if she's lying since she's hot enough to play it and she's a great actress. parang inception lang to pag nagkataon; JGL, caine, cotillard, hardy and nolan together again.

Nolan recycles the actors from his films all the time. Only a few lang yung hindi nya pa nare-recast: Guy Pearce, Carrie Anne Moss, Scarlett Johansson, Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Hall. Kahit yung police officer nya from Memento ni-recast niya sa Batman Begins.

It's still a rumor, but a huge amount of fans are betting that Miranda Tate, Marion's character, is secretly Talia Al-Ghul.

May mga set photos na Marion is in an exotic attire and is leading some of Bane's men.

A kid actress cast in this film, Joey King, who very much looks like a young Marion Cotillard, leaks that she's playing a young Talia Al-Ghul.

She will be killed by Batman by blowing up her truck with his Batwing/"The Bat".

She will stab Lucius Fox.

I'm not expecting this to have an opening weekend like The Avengers, because:

1. There's no 3D version of the film, unlike The Avengers.

2. I'm sure this film will be more on the drama side of storytelling, unlike ng Avengers na fun for the whole family ang style.

3. There's no "OMG! Heath Ledger's dead!" factor.

4. A "Batman Vs. Joker" is always an event film, tulad ng first Batman film (1989). Sino ba nakakakilala kay Bane except sa mga Batman fans?
