I think it would be best for us to state why we chose these universities as the top 5 best schools in the Philippines in the field of Accountancy so that others may know what these schools have in comparison to the rest.
Personally, I think that DLSU is the best school in the Philippines when it comes to Accountancy because it has consistently been able to make CPA Board Exam topnotchers every single year. It is almost often that a DLSU student makes number 1 at the CPA Board Exams held every year, and, most of the times, the Top 10 list of CPA Board Exam topnotchers is usually dominated by La Sallians as well.
Next to La Salle would be U.P. I think, after La Salle, U.P. is the school that makes the next most number of CPA Board Exam topnotchers.
I'm not so sure which 3 other schools make the most number of CPA Board Exam topnotchers after La Salle and U.P. but I guess it would be San Beda, PSBA, and UST.
DLSU Manila. 3.0 gpa requirement plus the 83% passing grade.

if you wanna be a really good accountant, sa la salle ka na! nde namn sa tinatakot kita pero mahirap sobra ang accounting sa la salle, kamo nga survival of the fittest.
to chaser and the others,
kindly check the PRC's records. as far as i know, UP has topped the CPA exams more often than not. also, up has recorded more instances of having a 100% passing rate than any other school. the only negative point for up is the very small annual output of accounting graduates (24 avg. per year).
what i'm saying is i'm not so sure as to who's claim is more accurate.
