hmm ndi ako taga Capital IQ pero nag try ako run. sabi 25k daw offer nila for voice writers. graveyard shift, either 9 or 12mn start ng shift. *** exam dun 4 hrs.. jan.8 start... yan lang alam ko...

Malaki ang offer sa Capital IQ. Financial consultancy company siya and not a call center at very multicultural ang team. May mga French, Finnish and German officemates ka diyan. May friend ako who works as a Financial Language Translator na French, her starting salary is 45k. And then kapag mga trainers daw it's around 60k. Kaya lang, downside? According to manong guard. Maraming social climbers daw. I can even remember in his own words. Yung mga pinoy na nagwowork jan eh ''parang mga langaw na nakatungtong sa kalabaw''. I guess ganyan talaga ang pinoy kapag nahalo na sa mga puti. feeling nila ang gagaling nila. Pero according to my friend, yung mga financial translators daw jan hindi naman maggaling mag-french or mag-spanish. mapulitika... its up to you guys...

Teka, bakit walang nagrereply sa post na 'to? Na-interview na ako ng HR at OM. Next daw ay yung 3-hour long exams. Any tips from people working in this company? Kaso May 11 pa ang training IF EVER makapasa hehe...

i've heard this company from a friend...okay daw sweldo dito but medyo mahirap and work. maganda rin daw ang schedule kasi fixed at sat-sun off rin tulad sa work ko ngayon. I'm planning to apply here maybe around July.

Seriously? Fixed Sat & Sun off? Pero I've heard from the HR na nag-interview sakin na shifting daw ang sched. Wait, may idea ka ba kung gano kahirap?? Kasi ako galing ako sa call center, ayoko na ng customers hehehe... Do you have any ideas how hard the work is? Ang alam ko lang this is something related to the American stock market, competitor daw ang Bloomberg at Reuters.

Hindi. Capital IQ to, sa Ortigas, 32nd Flr sa Raffles.

Ang alam ko, ang ginagawa dito, may pakikinggan kang stocks-related conversation tapos ita-transcribe mo. Pero hindi yung usual transcription na ita-type mo, kasi gagaimitin mo din ang boses mo para magtranscribe. Meron silang voice-recognition software na magtatranslate sa text sa PC, kaya voice transcriptionist/voice writer tawag sa mga tao dito. This info might be inaccurate, pero roughly alam ko ganun ginagawa. Any other info?

ms diane just called me kaninang umaga that i'll have my exam sa monday.. yahoo!!! 3 hour test.. hmm.. interesting. sana lahat ng nag apply makapasa kasi this opportunity is very rare to come by.. non call center company giving out 25k minimum salary? whew..

kaya i urge everyone to try it out.. wala naman mawawala.. everything to gain. goodluck sa ating lahat!
