    Thanks Onyxguapo - ill try to convert it to classic or else im going to have this card go. Prepared nako na i give up ito.

    Yung sa mga ka officemate ko puro Eastwest Bank - they were granted reversal fees just like that- it was reversed. No arm twisting here or intimidation. Just plain sumbatan pinamukha lang nila na very responsible cardholders sila. The very next month reversed na- sayang din yon diba almost 200k of purchases kasi ang kailangan to get 4k points. Yung 4k points nila inexchange nila for GCs sa Robinsons Dept store.

    Citibank added the credit limit of Citibank Mercury Drug to my gold visa when I requested cancellation. Di naman sila nag offer to waive the annual fee.

EastWest Bank, my first card which I used to love so much since sila lang ang nagbigay sa kin ng cc nung time na bago ako sa work and was earning only slightly higher than minimum wage. After one year ang dami ko credit card offers ako pa ngayon ang tumatanggi, thanks to my credit history in EWB. Kaya lang hindi pa rin nila tinaasan CL ko, and I think hindi rin na-grant ang request ko for annual fee reversal, kaya ngayon di ko na sya peborit.

    jay372011, may iba ka pa bang cc? Kung Citi lang dapat bago mag-anniversary ang card mo mag-apply ka na sa ibang card companies like HSBC, kasi kapag may existing credit card usually wala nang requirements. Mainam na yung may bago kang card bago mo pa-close yan di ba?

    nag request ako yesterday for the reversal ng annual fee ko with my BPI edge thru email lang, eto reply nila.

    yeah yung monthly membership fee na P110 thats equivalent to P1320 annual, yan yung pina waive ko, na approved naman, YIPEE. since this will be my second year to my bpi edge. First year membership/ annual fee is waived too.

    ano yun retroactive na reversal? buti pumayag sila. hindi din kasi clear sa email na all the monthly fees for a year ang ma rereverse. it can be misunderstood as one month reversal lang.

    Yan din ang dahilan kung bakit ayoko ng cards na monthly ang membership fee. Baka buwan-buwan kailangan magrequest ng reversal.

    Korek!!! ganyan ang BDO... every month ako nagrerequest ng reversal dahil monthly nga ang membership fee... na aapprove naman pag naka at least 3k ang purchase mo sa isang buwan...

    Im sure naman BPI CS is better than BDO CS, they know what they are telling. I ask for the waiver for the entire year on my email, and it said on their reply naman na qualified ako for the 100% waiver. You can rely to BPI CS, unlike any other banks such as Metro and BDO which is sucks.

    No. Pay your outstanding balance first.

    Anyway, carrying a balance on a closed credit card account may hurt your credit score. (Yes, may credit score na sa Pilipinas.)

    Malapit na anniversary ko with Citibank. Meron na akong script jejeje pero ready na din akong tumayo sa sarili kong mga paa. Mawala man ang citibank kaya ko na.

    Yes jay, madali pala kausap ang EWB when it comes to waiving of annual fee. And to think that my total spending with that card for the past 12 months was only about 45k. No I'm not a heavy-user at all, and I'm no revolver either. Yet, they waived it. Happy happy!
