I am getting married in March, my fiance and i are having a bit problem finding to be his best man. Since none of his male friends can't come to Philippines to be his best man, he will just have his female friend as his "best man"...??? We are thinking of a appropriate address for her. It can't be "best woman or lady" kasi ako lang dapat yun. Acceptable ba ang "best mate"? Any suggestion please? Will really appreciate it.

our wedding planner is suggesting to use "Lady of Honor" as the title. can i use this eventhough i got matron of honor already?

brownie bear, just stay on the "best man" name for ur grooms bestfriend. it's cool, dont change anything. para kasing panget kung papalitan nyo pa ng tawag dun sa best man dahil babae sha, go lang for the "best man" name. Good luck on ur wedding.

You can refer to the groom's friend as "best woman" or a gender neutral term "honor attendant."
