Is (what's his name?) Gary Lauriano still running the show over there? I was, in fact, one of their early Delphi/MFC coders.

Azeus is a very good company if you are into databases and business solutions
I used to work for Azeus, .... the pay may be good but..... (OK lang siguro na sabihin ko ito ala na naman ako dun!) Mabait ang may-ari... mabait ang mga tao dun.... but I sometimes think the pay is not worth the effort.... naiisip ko ito whenever I witness an employee who have to skip important family affairs because they have to work overtime. PAra bang kapag pumasok ka dun given na kailangan mag overtime ka 5 days a week na your work is your world at kapag kailangan may tapusin kahiy linggo kailangan mag-report ka...Anyway na-notice ko lang na ang taas ng turn-over nila (at least yung office dito sa Pilipinas!) around 50-60 %... kasi sa sobrang overtime by the time you reach your second year burn out ka na!..... On the good side kapag napasok ka dun.... it means your really good or have lots of potentials... ganun ka-rigid ang standards nila. Dapat rin graduate ka ng UP, Ateneo, La Salle and Sto.Thomas.
haha. Ganun ka sikat si Gary?Originally posted by altair

Gary tried a small company spin-off from AZEUS. Called MERCURY SYSTEMS. Mecury had good potentials kasi most of it's engineers were trained by the best people in AZEUS (Master Gerry). Pero it wasn't managed good, Gary was the president, after resigning from AZEUS. Most of the senior engineers of MERCURY resigned after one and a half years. Burn-out and bad management practices were the reasons. I'm not sure if MERCURY is still in operation. Last I heard of is, Gary wanting to go back to AZEUS, not sure if this is true. If it is true, ingat lang.
AZEUS is a good company if you're a fresh grad. Steep ang learning curve nila good starting point for a career. Pero, I agree you burn-out quickly. Oh I think they work on Saturdays and sometimes Holidays too.
AZEUS is primarily a support company for projects coming from ZEUS HongKong. Tapos they use DELPHI (4G Pascal) and ORACLE. I think they are now looking into web based languages.
uy thanks sa replies!
turned out my friend failed the technical interview so she's not gonna work there. hehe
aw.. too bad. i think that she's pretty though, because she lacks the brains
anyway, i am an Azeus employee, and am very proud of it. in fact, i still have my azeus watch, and i redecorated it with a fuchsia (fuschia? putcha? red na nga lang) pink ribbon. such derogatory comments about my motherland makes me want to kick my neighbor's dog's balls.
to the friend of yours who's bored, i agree with him.. the schrodinger equation gets to be boring when you try to apply it to quantum computing everyday.. i think that's the reason einstein left us..
Sto. Thomas?? is that a school?
umaga, este, maaga naman ang uwian dito ah.. and we're not just a supporter company, we also manufacture bikinis.
no, we don't code in delphi, we code here in ortigas..
we're not a delphi shop, we make great motherboards for the motherland.. wait, i think i misspelled my company.. it's Asus..
hello! how's it going with azeus?
ubermesch = richard?
may opennings? hehe
Can anyone grant me information on working with Azeus?

anong company ba yan?!![]()
software development yan. consulting.
slave driver daw mga boss dyan.
ows tlaga? nakakatakot naman![]()
is that the software firm in ortigas. if it is... hmmm... heard not so good things about it. similar to what froshie1 mentioned.
So what are the things (good and bad things are equally welcomed) that you have heard or experience, as the case maybe, about the company?
hmmm... like working for 12 hours or more... no OT pay... everyday ata. okay, it might seem that this is rampant especially in IT firms... but my friend told me they are coerced into that situation...
dami trabaho... sobra daw... add to the fact DAW na antagal na nila dun, laging napo-postpone regularization nila. kaya daw ala nagtatagal na employee.
again, sabi nila yun... di ako.
taas sweldo...25k starting.
pero they're going to make you work for every centavo. matrabaho raw talaga.
I used to work there. But I don't remember anyone having a problem with regularization. What I do remember is that they do boot out those that don't make the grade after 6 months of being a probi. Pero if you have the stamina, the brains (not to mention Talent) and the dedication cgurado kang mare-regular ka.
Pero grabe ang taas na ng starting nila ha. Two years ago I think the starting is somewhere in the vicinity of 15-20 K depending on qualifications.
Regarding the 12 hour work days. I guess the work culture haven't change yet .
