Well I think thats natural. If I'm a developer, I would be cautious as well. I would rather stick to what I am good at, something that's proven to work and sell well.

I still feel that at the end of the day, only certain games are suitable to motion control. And the Wii controller just doesn't work well for more mainstream stuff. Even though motion control isn't exactly a new technology, it's still less suited to most game applications than traditional hold-in-my-hand-and-push-buttons style controllers.

Now if someone would invent whatever game she's playing below - they'd be very rich

BTW - I personally have nothing against the Wii or the DS or Nintendo, and in fact I love my DS to bits for it's JRPG goodness, but I dunno what it is about Nintendo but the Wii + DS has the largest amount of shovelcrap games I've ever seen. I think it's mainly because Nintendo has the more family friendly image of the big 3?

EDIT: BAH MY ANIMATED GIF DID NOT UPLOAD

I have a PSP, pero i keep it in my bag while playing my music. at nilalaro ko naman kapag nag-aatay. pero hanggang arm-strap lang ang nilagay ko. for the reason na PSP1000 ang gamit ko at ayokong magmukang katulad nila.

    +1

Sadly, if I'm a maker of PC games I'll just make the same game with a slighty different title with the same gameplay but much better graphics and can still make more money because the numbnuts are going to buy it because it's "cool".

about Red Alert 3 (you can look away now if you love RA3), I dunno... did the game sell very well thanks to the girls or the gameplay itself. C'mon! I love RA2 but RA3 is like RA2 with better graphics, a new Japan-like faction, and more lovely girls. If I want girls then I'll just buy a magazine or go to a porn site Opinion lang.

Kuha kang scissors tapos putulin mo yung ano then let the gravity do the rest.

I honestly say that I have nothing against PSP, I just don't want to own a handheld for some reason.

i was at sm dasma earlier.. i saw a lot of gamers wearing the amulet of psp... it comes in different variants as well.. i wonder what kind of protection it offers?

uhm.. probably to ward off the childish spells of the stylus wand?

and i think wii is notably recognized as a family console kaya ganyan ang games niya..

    where is barney and dora?

well, someone better tell them that they look stupid.....

Compare it to jerseys, PSP is a fairly expensive device. wearing it like a "bling-bling" on public areas especially here in the Philippines is a stupid idea. they are just lucky na hindi pa sila napagtripan ng mga holdaper.

Kung gusto nilang gawing "bling-bling" yung PSP then it is fine, I'm not forcing them to put the PSP into their arse.

"MGS series = 90% movie, 10% gameplay. pweh!"

you obviusly havent played MGS 3 and MGS 4 to say that.

and calling mgs2 as a movie was nothing more than a net meme that went out of proportion, anyway.

as for wii shovelwares, i agree. i never hated nintendo's christmas lineup at all. and in comes this christmas. yay wii resort!!

let's play frisbee with the dog! yay!

I own a PSP but it stays in my bag and never ever let it hang on my neck for reasons:

    it's heavy
    holdaper magnet
    definitely not a chick magnet
    it ain't cool

to all those wearing their PSP around their necks eto sa inyo:
I have a PSP hanging on my neck, look at me, I'm dead sexy and cool - to the tune of fat b*st*rd

Guitar Hero haha, I never liked the concept of it it's just like Dance Revolution except that it's in the form of a guitar controller. Nothing beats the real guitar, unlimited creativity ohh yeah!

the current FPS scene looks great... LOOKS great.

however, I'm getting tired of the "realistic" gameplay... I want fast-paced action (cmon you all know what my fave game is)
