Traits that a filipino worker already possess which makes him competitive compared to other nationalities are: Very well verse in the English language and can communicate well. Almost all filipinos are college graduates. Very knowledgeable and skillful. Hardworking and goes beyond expectation in the performance of their job.

One of the first things expats notice about filipino workers is that majority lack a "sense of urgency". May pagka-laid back ang pinoy eh.

Positive - dedicated, hardworking, and willing to risks health, family time, etc to the satisfaction of their bosses.

Negative - they splurge on payday, and some become "matapobre" to those budding entrepreneurs

negative - i want to prove this wrong but this is a sad reality, the "crab mentality" way of thinking among Filipinos
