    positive traits of a filipino employee are: 1.) Hardworking 2.)very knowledgeable and skillful of the position being held 3.) patience, 4.) trustworthy 5.) good judgment.


    negative traits of a filipino employee are: 1.)Tardiness 2.) lazy 3.) impatient 4.) lack of understanding complacent 5.) habit of the mayana (postponing what can be done today for tomorrow) system.


    Traits that a filipino worker already possess which makes him competitive compared to other nationalities are: Very well verse in the English language and can communicate well. Almost all filipinos are college graduates. Very knowledgeable and skillful. Hardworking and goes beyond expectation in the performance of their job.

    One of the first things expats notice about filipino workers is that majority lack a "sense of urgency". May pagka-laid back ang pinoy eh.

    Positive - dedicated, hardworking, and willing to risks health, family time, etc to the satisfaction of their bosses.

    Negative - they splurge on payday, and some become "matapobre" to those budding entrepreneurs

    positive - Filipinos are normally dedicated to their work, they are willing to sacrifice everything to prove their worth.

    negative - i want to prove this wrong but this is a sad reality, the "crab mentality" way of thinking among Filipinos

    positive - skillful, trustworthy.

    negative - tendency to procrastinate, laid-back, mahilig sa chismis, nag-uuwi ng office supplies sa bahay. lolz.

    negative: tardiness, reklamador, crab mentality, sip-sip sa boss
