How about bacon, considered as exotic food kaya ito para sa mga Muslim?
Balot lang siguro, medyo pihikan ako sa food e. hehe
I HAVE ALREADY TRIED yung turtle soup, butiki without knowing na butiki yun ha.kasi my dad give us for medicinal purpose when we were younger. kasama pati yung apdo ng sawa.
sa pangasinan -lola cooked adobo frog
-my brod make caldereta out of rabbit
in Hongkong-dried mushroom
-birds nest with milk
dito sa saudi - I had eaten ostrich meat na adobo
-ostrich egg-sunnyside up and beaten fried
since i am from laguna ... lagi kame kumakain sa exotik restaurant (longos, laguna near paete) everytime meron kaming out of town or balikbayan na bisita parati namin tini-treat doon ...
adobo sa gata :
pero meron din naman silang sine-serve na regular menu
- balut. yung mabalahibo na yung sisiw (gross)
- tocinong kalabaw
natikman ko exotic: one-day old chick / tapang usa / palaka
gusto ko ma-try minsan: crickets / locust / grasshopper
- kuhol (considered ba ito as exotic???)
- soup no. 5
exotic foods i have tried:
frog legs (deep fried)
alligator (jerky & alligator tail nuggets)
jellyfish (shredded jellyfish salad)
black kuhol (sa pangasinan ko natikman)
tikling (some kind of birds na hinuhuli at iniihaw sa zambales)
Here's what I've tried so far (in malaysia, china, korea, taiwan and indonesia):
But the best ones were the donkey jerky and donkey preserved meat from Xi'an in China. I've been feeling like an @ss ever since.
