I HAVE ALREADY TRIED yung turtle soup, butiki without knowing na butiki yun ha.kasi my dad give us for medicinal purpose when we were younger. kasama pati yung apdo ng sawa.

since i am from laguna ... lagi kame kumakain sa exotik restaurant (longos, laguna near paete) everytime meron kaming out of town or balikbayan na bisita parati namin tini-treat doon ...

I remember buying some pieces of furniture in front of Exotic Restaurant after dining there.

By the way, there is also the Balaw-Balaw Restaurant serving sawa in Angono, Rizal which is celebrating their fiesta today.

bird's nest, i think yan yung tinatawag nating nido. ginagawang soup. galing sa swift bird na gumagawa ng nest out of their own saliva. hahaha.

exotic foods i have tried:

frog legs (deep fried)
alligator (jerky & alligator tail nuggets)
jellyfish (shredded jellyfish salad)
goat (caldereta)
bayawak (adobo)
black kuhol (sa pangasinan ko natikman)
tikling (some kind of birds na hinuhuli at iniihaw sa zambales)

mountain fox
monitor lizard
turtle
deer meat
ant wine
freshwater eel
dog soup
stinky tofu

But the best ones were the donkey jerky and donkey preserved meat from Xi'an in China. I've been feeling like an @ss ever since.
