read more^ You mean the Indian gas station attendant? LaRoche killing Gupta is a diversion, as far as I can understand, to keep the audience guessing on whether LaRoche is Red John's mole or not. The Tupperware could be a red herring or maybe even the story arc of Season 4, who knows? Medyo halata na that it was O'Laughlin...wasn't this same ploy used in season 1 of Dexter?
I only got back here after I just watched the season finale.
I adore Bradley Whitford, so it was fitting to me that he played that role.
I really hope that is the end of the Red John story arc...if they try to force another layer on it, parang trying hard na. And really, once you get Bradley Whitford [spoiler start]to play Red John[spoiler end], that should be it.![]()

Is Red John Dead?
n his first interview since the finale, The Mentalist creator Bruno Heller told Entertainment Weekly that all may not have been what it appeared in that final few moments.
"The question remains: Was that Red John?" Heller asks. "The viewer is supposed to be convinced. Patrick Jane is certain it’s Red John. Some people are not so certain. Thing is, Red John is a master of the mind game. If Red John wanted to die, maybe this is how he wanted to die. Or maybe he just wants Jane to think he’s dead."
^ I loved Cho already when he went undercover in that hotel in a season 1 ep.![]()
Patrick Jane in Jail on Season Premiere
"If you got your heart's desire, and your heart's desire was a kind of bitter and dangerous pill to swallow, how would you go on with the rest of your life?" creator Bruno Heller asks in a new TV Guide interview. "What does revenge mean? Because, as you saw in that final moment, after you've killed someone, what's left? It's not like love. Love makes things grow. That kind of bitterness and hate kills things."
Of course, this is predicated on whether or not Jane actually killed Red John on season three finale.
As for the new season overall, Heller previews:
"There still will be an overarching narrative going on, but it won't be quite so intricate. From Jane's point of view, he doesn't want to play games any more. [He wants] to pull back a bit from that kind of obsessive chase, because it's the obsessive chase that has gotten him into problems in the first place."
The Mentalist season 4 premieres on September 22.
Reed Diamond as CBI Agent
The veteran actor - currently seen on Franklin & Bash, best known for his role of Mike Kellerman on Homicide - will guest star on The Mentalist's second episode of season four. He'll portray a CBI agent that assists Lisbon and her squad with the investigation of a personal trainer's murder.
The Mentalist returns on Thursday, September 22.
What's Next for THE MENTALIST
TV Guide's Mega Buzz has the answer as to what's next for Patrick Jane on THE MENTALIST:
"Jane will claim that he killed Red John in self-defense after he learned that Red John was communicating with his mole, Agent O'Loughlin. (We all saw the gun and the phone call, right?) Not so fast, says series creator Bruno Heller. "Not only is there no cell phone with any calls from an FBI Agent named O'Loughlin, but no gun will be found [by the police]," he says, hinting that someone is still pulling the strings. "Within five minutes of the season-opener, Jane is in jail for homicide with no way out. And he and Lisbon, to some extent, start questioning his sanity." There we go — the insanity defense!"
Can't wait to see what happens this season. I really thought Red John is over. It would be interesting to see how this will unfold.
Former Greek and Melrose Place star Michael Rady has signed on for a key role next season as Luther Wainwright, the new head of the CBI.
Yes, Rady is a lot younger than Patrick Jane, but TV Line confirms the actor will portray an intelligent agent with very little field experience. He takes the place of Aunjanue Ellis’ Madeleine Hightower as person in charge of the CBI.
I can really say that he is too young to be the head of the CBI
Kelli Williams (The Practice, Lie to Me) will guest star this fall as Beth Flint, a woman who once hired Jane and "still believes he has psychic powers," creator Bruno Heller says.
"When her 9-year-old son, Connor, is kidnapped, she begs Jane to use those abilities to find Connor, putting Jane in a painful position," Heller previews of the October 6 episode.
The Mentalist season 4 premieres on September 22.
hahaha bakit siya lang ang ibang kulay ng uniform?
Henry Thomas has been cast as Teresa Lisbon's brother.
"Everyone else in the Lisbon family is a policeman or fireman so Tommy is considered a bit of a black sheep," Creator Bruno Heller tells TV Guide. "We'll see that he's the kind of ne'er-do-well who will bring his 12-year-old daughter on a bounty-hunting expedition."
Thomas, who will forever be known as the kid in E.T. will guest star in late October.
The Mentalist season 4 premieres on September 22.
