hi ask ko lang po, im 7 months pregnant now, i missed a quarter payment sa philhealth and they wont let me pay for it so it means di ako makakaavail ng maternity benefits. question is there other way to use my philhealth pag nanganak ako.

another question, on their site, you can be covered by yuor parents philhealth if your 21 and below, but not if 21 and above. im 21 so where do i stand... hope you can help me...

    Unhappy Help!

is it true na I can't get my maternity benefit if i didnt notify SSS prior to my delivery? I am a voluntary contributor and I pay the maximum contribution every month! Sayang naman if I can't use it. Help!

  3. #83
oo pwede pa kayo magfile basta di pa kayo nanganganak. Ang maganda lang kasi sa maagang mag-file para in case na makunan(huwag na man mangyari) eh may makukuha pa rin kayo sa SSS.

kapag may loan ba, makakakuha pa rin maternity benefit from sss? pls help thanks

I reckon that if you have made an updated monthly contribution despite having defaults in loan, you still can claim for maternity benefits. my two cents.

phone sss office or send them email for confirmation.

When I filed for my SSS maternity benefit when I was a month pregnant last May 2008, ang nilagay ko na name na is my Married name since na-change na naman sa system nila way back 2007. Pero yung SSS ID ko is still my maiden name. Wala namang naging problema.
siguro dahil na file mo ito way back 2007 so automatically it will appear in your files that you changed your last name na..

ang kaso ko naman hindi pa ako nakapag fill-up ng SSS form for changing Status.(saka nalang pagkatapos manganak..) so ganun din siguro ang problema ng iba kaya di nila makuha kuha ang half of reimbursement until hindi naka change ng status.

    hayyy...

    Anyone can answer please?

Just went to SSS Office branch here in our place, sasubmit ko sana nag MAT 1 kaso sabi ng SSS coordinator MAT 1 & 2 will be submitted after the delivery.

    @shankie30

u have to submit first yung MAT1 mo. Tulad ng nakalagay dun its a maternity notification and when is the expected delivery date mo. if your employed one month before ng due date mo ibibigay ng company mo yung check.

With regard to sss maternity benefit, di ba para ma-quallify to get the benefits is you must have 3 months contribution w/in 12 month period, ano ba yun 3 months contribution bago ka nagbuntis o habang buntis ka. kasi sa case ko nagstop ako magwork last sept 09 and due ko na on may, nung binilang ko 12 month backward I only have 2 months contribution. do I still have to pay 1 month contribution to qualify for sss ben. o ang pagbabasehan nila e yung contributions ko bago ako nagbuntis...na confused lang ako.

You should have paid at least three monthly contributions within the 12-month period immediately preceding the semester of your childbirth or miscarriage.

Kung due ka ng May 2010
    1. Exclude the semester of your childbirth (Jan 2010 - June 2010)
    2. At least 3 monthly contributions in this period (Jan 2009 - Dec 2009)

    my 2 cents.

Pasensya na kayo, wala akong time mag back read dito sa thread,,

My brother is employed overseas and hindi inayos ng wife n'ya dati [during pregnancy] yung contribution n'ya sa PhilHealth.
