Good day po sa inyo, My wife just gave birth last March 12, 2012. High risk po yung pregnancy niya and she resigned from work last Aug. 2011. Nagfile na po siya ng MAT1, she's gonna file MAT 2 next week, normal po yung delivery, makakakuha pa po kaya siya ng Maternity Claim and nasa magkanong range po, twice na po kming nakapagfile sickness benefit kasi nga high risk yung pregnancy niya, me effect po kaya ito sa maternity claim niya. Her salary range is 11k. Thanks po in advance.

in addition to the 2nd benefit, companies are REQUIRED to pay you daily maternity benefit equivalent to 100% of your present basic salary. This is required by law, RA 7322, Section 14-A.

Just asked our HR re: this and they told me that "1992 pa yan eh." Does this mean this has been amended already? An amendment that decreased the benefits of SSS members filing for maternity leave? May I know what is the new benefit now?

No fixed amount kasi it depends on the amount of your bill. Syempre pag CS mas malaki ang bawas kasi mas mahal yon.

Philhealth is hospital bill discount so it will depend on the total amount of the bill.

Would you know how many % this is?

SSS naman depends on the amount of your monthly contributions and if its normal delivery or caesarian. It ranges from 2,000 to 39,000 pesos.

Clicked on this link and it's not working too. At least for me. XD (Maybe it's my browser...) I've been a member since 2002. Paid from 2002-2006, then I went abroad and stopped and started paying again from 2008 to this date. My contribution is 1k per month. And my 6 highest monthly salaries are all above 15,000. Would you know how much I'd get for normal delivery and c-section? This is my first child.

pwede pa humabol ng file ng mat1 kahit more than 3 months na.. ako kasi almost 6 months na nung magfile eh

actually kahit late na basta bago manganak...kc ako kakagaling ko lang ng SSS kanina to verify my contribution at if qualified ba ko sa maternity benefits....and the answer is YES! even....

i am already in my 8 months as of today (may 17, 2012) and my due date base on my ultrasound is june 17, 2012...

i'm also seperated(nagresign na) to my last company...so wala akong work ngayon...
actually *** last company ko nga na yun e wala pang hulog kc 3months lang ako dun at hindi pa naging regular tas nagresign na ko....
pero *** company ko dati na pinagtrabahuhan ko ng january 2011 upto june 2011 may hulog naman...so un yung mapakikinabangan ko...

so base on my understanding ang chineck nila kanina e if my contribution ako atleast 3months consecutive last year (2011)....if wala naman kayong contribution at nasa 1st to 2nd term palang ng pregnancy niyo e ask kayo about "voluntary contribution" kaya i suggest na if gusto niyo ma-sure if qualified kayo sa maternity benefits e ask nio sa nearest sss office.

ang need niyo dalhin ay marriage contract if kasal na kayo at ultrasound result....=)) tapos pafi-fill-upin kayo ng MAT1 form.....ask niyo nadin dun ang next step kasi pagod na me magtype hehe...=))

charissaarieta: kng dirediretso ang contribution mo backward ng 6months contribution, taz yung backward ulit na 12months contribution, dun nakabase yung pwede mong makuha.. sa 12months na yun kuha ka ng 6 na pinakamataas na contribution mo. taz iadd mo yung MSC. (total MSC divided by 180) multiplied to 78(cesarian).. (MSC- monthly salary credit)

Hi everyone. Im in a confused state right now. Anyone who has knowledge or can give me info is greatly appreciated. I filed Mat 1 on Jan 2012, I gave birth last April. I was AWOL on my previous company and I did inform SSS about it when I filed Mat 1 nad they said I can change my status to voluntary member. When I went back to SSS to file Mat2, the girl on the counter told me that I needed to submit COE and the other 2 requirements from my previous company. Of course I wont be able to get a COE since Im awol plus my company is in Pasig and Im currently based here in Mindanao. I emailed SSS and the reply was I can get an affidavit in lieu of my COE. I also asked a friend to go to SSS Quezon City branch and they said if I dont have Coe, a copy of my sss contributions from my previous company will do but here in our province they're insisting I pass all 3 requirements w/c is impossible. What should I do now? Anyone here who was AWol but able to claim her benefits? i'll be waiting for any reply. TIA!

possible pa po ba ma reimburse yong unclaimed maternity benefit ko wherein my previous employer did not give me an advance maternity benefit? then 6 months palang pag bubuntis ko nag resign na ako sa work na un kasi naging not in good term kami ng employer ko. sss office asked a certification of non advance maternity benefit and certificate of employment from my previous employer pero di ako maka pag provide kasi nga not in good terms kami. nag request pa na ako for CI from SSS office, pinuntahan na ng liason ng SSS ang previous employer ko but then di rin nakakuha *** liason sa documents na ni request ko. ang tanong ko po, di ba pwede naman nila ma search sa files ng sss if reimbursed or not *** claim ko dba considering the fact na i have notified sss during my pregnancy. hindi ba nila pwedeng gawing basis un?i think they can actually compare their files un undisbursed claim or *** na disbursed na. wala na bang ibang paraan *** makuha ko pa *** benefits na un? sayang naman kasi. pls help me.

Hi nagfollow up yung Asawa ko ngayon lang para sa Maternity Benefits niya ang sabi nung nakausap niya na employee ng SSS 6 months pa before siya mabayaran ni SSS..iimbestigahan pa daw kasi..nagtaka ako bakit ang tagal naman yata masyado..ask lang mga ka PEX ilang weeks or months ba talaga para makapagclain ng maternity benefits..may makukuha nga siya pero after 6 months pa..ganon ba talaga?sana may makasagot..TIA
