Kahapon tsaka today mabagal sya kahit sa direct download. Sa sobrang tagal nya magdownload nageelapse na yung connection at wala akong matapos na file na bigger than 40MB. Hay nako walang kwenta na to... di na siguro namin itutuloy after the trial.
Just what I said, Sky has a good bandwidth but they throttle all the torrents, mag tiis ka nalang sa mabilis na online movies.
I rather stay with a ISP na kahit mababa ang bandwith statisfied naman ako sa torrents. Di na mababago ng Sky yan, kasi utos ng OMB chairman na dapat walang nang makaka download ng movies...
have you tried using opendns dns servers?
by the way ano yung balita na nag throttle na sila? may article ba na na-released na ganon?
I'll be trying out Sky Broadband for 15 days. so far from what I read here, mabagal ang torrents? Oh well, I'll soon find out.

Kakaaply lang namin for 6 mpbs awhile ago.
IMOE with most ISp's if you are just on a residential package you have the least priority, thus you get the smallest chunk of BW possible. 98% of your link to the telco ay at the guaranteed minimum speed and bw. For torrents naman make sure listening ports and forwarding ports of your 1.modem 2.router 3.pc are all open. Only reason that you have slow dling of torrents is that the port you are using is being blocked by your modem, seeders are offline, bw is at the limit. ISP's have no right to block your own UDP ports because it will also affect other communication.
sometimes many sites can't be accessed for several hours. I hope they fix it. It's really annoying
^ It's ok if you like watching streaming videos on the internet.
You can appreciate torrents if you are fond with latest TV series and movies, lalo na if inaabangan mo ang next episode the next day. If not then ok no use for torrents.
Sa lahat ng ISP Sky at Bayan DSL and soon SUN Broadband lang ang nag throttle ng torrent.
Smart/PLDT and Globe does not care even if you are using their mobile internet (Visibility and SmartBro), depende nalang sa signal. Destiny din kahit 30 naka queue sa torrent mo download araw-araw.
Anybody who previously used MyDestiny and then migrated to Sky Broadband? Feedbacks? Is it way better? Thanks!
