Finally watched it.

I thought they would get rid of Tara already, but I was wrong, sadly. I really don't like the character. Oh well.

The first episode wasn't as awesome as I wanted it to be, but it had moments. [spoiler start]I like the introduction of the sister. Not too fond of Sookie and the murder thing. I don't know what to think about the reverend. Tara as a vampire would be interesting, I have to admit, even if I really don't like the character. [spoiler end]

For some reason I am not as into this as the past seasons. The only sub-plot I am interested in is the capture of Bill, Eric and his sister. Not interested in the reverend, lukewarm with the wolves, have no idea where they're going with Terry+Arlene, and definitely not interested in Tara. This has been my complaint even with the past seasons - there are too many sub-plots already, they should focus on only a few.

i'm afraid True Blood is nearing that "24" syndrome, this tv series version i mean.

gasgas na masyado yung 'Sookie-your-life-is-in-danger-here'.. that scene with Alcide elicited a huge ho-hum from me, literally! pano kaya kung palitan ang lead actress??

seriously, putting the book aside, i have not read them. the only way to get this series going, interesting for me, is to introduce another badass supernatural to give the seemingly invincible vampires some competition. remember the episodes featuring the Maenad, and the medieval witch, that got me really hooked. yung werewolves naman kasi dito hindi nakakatakot, cute na mga Siberian Huskies lol, unlike sa Underworld.

i dunno, that's just me.. sana maging interesting ang susunod na mga episodes.
