yup, ayos din kung ab english
AB English/Literature/Journalism with minor in Philosophy
English will facilitates your thoughts while Philo will structures your thoughts.
Lawyering is all about thoughts - playing with words
legma, philo at econ..
AB Pol Sci
Legal Management, Political Science, English, & Journalism
BS Economics (in UPD)
Aside from being the sole COE in Economics, meron pa syang 42 units of free electives (equiv to 14 subjects).
With these, pwede mong kunin ang law-related parts ng mga popular pre-law courses (Speech / English, Philosophy, Pub Ad, Pol Sci, etc.)
(4 - Math, Sci, Tech; 4 - Soc Sci / Philo; 5 - Arts & Hum)
BA Business Administration and Accountancy (UPD)
most subjects in Legal Management is like an intro to most subjects in Law. i think
Langya nahilo ako sa choices a. Mga sir ano ba talaga mas maganda mag accountancy o pol. sci.?
Ok naman siguro ang Literature and Legal Management no?
When we talk about the skills needed in law school the following pre-law course are the most advisable, if not the best, to take before going to Law:
Philo- dahil law requires a lot of reading and thinking
Literature/English- dahil law requires good grammar , writing and a lot or reading.
Accountancy- Dahil accountancy course has a lot of law subjects like taxation and commercial laws whic are also the core subjects of the law proper.
Hey guys. Im an incoming 1st year college and im taking AB- BES (Behavioral Science) in UST. Is it a pre law course? Im confused.
Accountancy majors may have the same set of skills as philo, english and polsci majors (critical thinking, structure of thought, grammar etc) but Philo and polsci majors can never have the same advantage as Accounting majors (tax, oblicon, commercial law, CPA license). Law admission departments know this, kaya they are always scrambling to get CPA applicants.
Not only that if ever pag di ka tumuloy sa law, or di mo matapos law mo, there are innumerable high paying jobs waiting for you
^Actually anything can be a pre-law. May kakilala ako na ang prelaw niya chemistry. There's even a lawyer in congress na may prelaw na music
Personally, get the course that you really want.
For example, kung love mo chem edi chem. Then, maglaw ka.
Or lawyer slash chemist. Imbes na lawyer slash pol sci major. Well, opinion ko lang naman.
