read moretried The SPA in Acropolis (highly recommended) and The Spa Bel air (although wala na siya sa rockwell na)....the spa at Greenbelt is also great since out of the three, i received the best massage there...
I also went to Wensha spa..GC's 2 times...with a buddy...good thing wala kaming creepy encounter...6 hours stay lunch-dinner buffet great massage and food..!
Php750.00 for swedish o kaya shiatsu .. plus iced tea
Just tried Big Apple Express Spa in Rob Galleria. lowest price nila Php149. I got Balinese Massage for 499 and foot scrub for 100php![]()
gaano kayo kadalas mag punta sa spa? ano ba ideal?
I don't normally go to spa's but was enticed to try one last month around midnight during my break @ work and went to a nice spa along alabang-zapote road near toyota.
The rate was 700 for a massage and the use of sauna/shower etc. Yes we are all naked in the shower area and i didn't really mind even if some female staffs where present inside scrubbing some old peeps. The worst part was the massage in a cubicle, it was sooo light that i didn't feel anything at all but surprisingly for the 1st time my thingy & everything around it were massaged too...to my delight actually as it was the only one i enjoyed....but yeah no extra service happened as all their noisy staffers were just stationed just outside the curtain of my cubicle.
Bottomline is..i didn't get my money's worth. Time to move on to another spa....![]()
try Ace Water Spa![]()
any spa you can recommend na may hilot or equivalent that can rid of occasional "ipit" from weight training? budget sana lang and does not take too much of your time.
Mini spa review (prices may have changed):
Chi Spa, Edsa Shangri-La--The spa has an all-oriental theme, but somehow it reminded me of Hogwarts.Had body scrub and massage here, solb. I think it ran for around 3.5 hours. Quite expensive, though. The package I had was around P8,000.
Neo Day Spa, Fort--Tried this once, ok naman, nothing fancy. Around P1k up.
Urban Spa, Shangri-La Mall--I got one of the best massages ever here on my first visit (and I forgot the name of the masseuse). No shower area or sauna. The next time I went back, it was still good, but the first one I got was way better. Around P1k up.
Fitness First Platinum Spa, RCBC Makati--They have a heated bed, very relaxing. I love the oil used. Had this some years ago, forgot the price na. Andun pa naman yata yung spa.
The Spa Bonifacio High Street--The Mother Ship of The Spa branches. I had my treatment at the villa on the rooftop which is supposed to give a "destination spa" feel with its own tub/jacuzzi, bathroom with rainforest showerhead. Massages start at P900 for common room; extra pay if you want the private suite or villa.
The Spa Greenbelt 1--Too small for me. If you're going The Spa and pay anyway, I'd go to The Fort instead. I like the Bel-Air branch but it closed down already.
Mendez Rob Place Manila--Weirdest massage area ever.Looks like "indie" bodega with a mishmash of oriental home decor and obscure art pieces. Love Radio plays instead of soothing spa music. Massage is ok if you get a good therapist. P400
Zen Asia Spa, Bautista, Makati--Had scrub and massage. P500
Wensha Macapagal--Good massage, but the place is dingy. Ang daming ipis from the wet floor to the dining area. Marumi jacuzzi and locker area. P600. The only spa I know of which includes a buffet. Food is so-so.
Holiday Spa, Rob Manila--Has shower and sauna, common room. Ok massage. P700 na yata.
Fifth Sense, Kingwood, Makati--Good massage. No wet floor, no individual rooms. Futon and curtain divider lang. They offer a "For Him" massage given by male attendants. P300, yung For Him, nasa P400 yata.
Mont Albo Buendia, Makati and Padre Faura in front Rob Manila--Individual beds, basic massage. P300
Lotus Massage, Makati--It was ok but I'd rather go to Fifth Sense or Mont Albo. P300 up.
Asian Massage Malate--Futon and curtain divider only, no beds. Usually full, so it's best to set an appointment.
Om Spa Malate--Tried this once, it was a great experience. I am not sure if it's still there, haven't been to that area much.
If I may add, out of town spas. Range is around 2k up:
Mandala Spa, Boracay--Massage was ok. Honestly, it was not as bongga as I thought it would be since Mandala is a premier, luxe spa.
Kai Spa, Boracay Regency--Love it here.I had the twin massage wherein two attendants give you a massage. You get continuous strokes; one hand would be from the where the other one left off. Good scrub, too. Kiskis talaga, para kang nililiha.
My problem then was they reuse the loofah used for scrubbing.
The room is nice, though, with its own whirlpool jacuzzi, shower, changing area.
Neo Island Spa, Boracay--Inside the Pearl of the Pacific resort. Good massage rin. Sister company of Neo Day Spa in Fort.
Nurture Spa, Tagaytay---Had a package with Kapeng Barako body scrub, mango polish and massage done in a bahay-kubo cabana. It was so awesome that I fell asleep. Hit and miss, though, since the treatments my Ate and her bf availed of were bad daw. They had facial, massage and foot spa, and they were surprised that I enjoyed my treatments.
Long drive pa naman from Manila/Makati area.

Iba iba kasi pero if you want something specific here are some of my lists po:
a BIG wet area: complete with a hot water pool, cool water pool and a knee high tepid pool with sauna and steam rooms? Check CITYLIFESTYLE out @ scout circle...
GREAT massage: without the hanky-panky from the masseurs? heheh try NEW YORK SPA (at the topmost of this building around scout circle, timog), and AMISTAD spa...
Worth your money, because of food/buffet? San pa ba kundi sa WENSHA (try the one near Star City) para mas malaki and ok ang massage rooms.
magkano ba dapat ang tip?
