Grand Starex: CRDI vs TCI Diesel engines

There are two diesel engines available on the Grand Starex, one a TCI and the other a CRDI. The CRDI is fas superior.

I would like to know if anybody buys the TCI version? Is its 100 hp enough to run the verhicle well?

If there is someone from Hyundai out there, maybe you can give us your technical analysis. The sales people in Hyundai Alabang cannot give an acceptable answer.

Also, the interior of the VGT version is terrible in a sick yellow/tan color.

100hp is enough for the Philippines... though don't expect a miracle when trying to overtake or tackling inclines.
