there may be decent men in pex but it doesn't mean that they write in pex to meet decent women in pex and it also doesn't mean that they will treat women in pex decently.

when men and women want to meet decent people they usually do it through a common friend.

Yes, nothing wrong with superficial preferences. But there is something about a guy who can overlook them, and usually these are the hot guys.

I have three friends from high school.

1. One is a guy friend, hot (on the hotness scale, he's an 8 for me), hearthrob. He used to date some of my other friends in high school, magaganda, he even dated this girl who became a celebrity (model, host, etc). They didn't work out. Now he met this girl in college who's not that hot (maybe a 6.5), but he fell in love and they dated for years. They're married now. And he became even hotter.

2. This other guy friend, even hotter than the 1st guy (he's a 9, I'm not kidding, and all my friends and I have a secret crush on him ). Ganon din, he used to date magagandang babae (from my high school, from assumption, woodrose, etc). None of those relationships lasted. Then he met this girl in nursing school, may itsura naman, pero honestly hindi siya talaga maganda and compared to him man we all know he can do better looks wise. But he was in love, and they dated for 5 years. They've broken up (yay! joke ).

For some reason both these guys became even more attractive when we found out who they were dating. (and you know how girls are too when we talk about other girls, especially when they're dating our friends -- 'she's pretty', 'she's cute', 'she's not pretty enough for him')


3. Lastly, there's this girl friend of mine. I have to say, she's sexy naman, tall and slim, morena, but face wise, she's maybe a little average. All in all, I'll give her a 6.5 (where I come from there are so many goodlooking people, so I guess my standards are pretty high ). She used to date this guy who's our batchmate too. Average looking. After so many years, he cheated on her. She stayed single for a while but met someone, really cute guy (cuter than the ex, and cuter than her), mabait, sweet, matalino, charming. In short, almost perfect (I'm sure he has his little shortcomings). Swerte niya.

Now I'm not saying girls should not care about their looks because these guys are the exception, not the rule. And of course, it's important to still be attractive, maybe not solely for men, but to feel good about yourself. And yes, men are generally superficial, but it's nice to know there are those who can look past their superficial standards. And so nice to know that these guys are hot.

PS. Mahirap talaga maging babae, kailangan palagi kang maganda, sexy, mabango, etc. Kailangan pag gising mo sa umaga, maganda ka na kaagad, kung hindi, bagsak ka na sa standards ng karamihan ng lalake. Kailangan pag tumanda ka, mukhang bata ka pa rin, sexy ka pa rin. Wala tayong karapatan maging panget.
