actually, if we don't need a relationship or a wife, we can raise our standards as high as we want. kung sino ang nangangailangan yun ang magbaba ng standards. kahit pangit tayo, why do we have to lower our standards when a lot of beautiful women feel a need to get married when a lot of ugly men wouldn't care less.

ouch! May pantanggal na ng stretchmarks ngayon , and I met someone na nasa 40's na pero hindi mo iisipin na lima anak niya kasi wala syang stretchmarks sa tummy. Ganda talaga ng skin niya.

Actually from my experience, most guys I know who have really HIGH standards (and fyi, there are a lot of them) aren't really desperate to get into a relationship. For them its either she's at least 5'6" and 34-24-34 or wag nalang.

Guys should go for that gorgeous girl they really desire rather than settle for that average looking girl best friend of his who will always be there for him.

Who are we to have high standards when we ourselves aren't doing any thing to be worthy of such, too. Tingin muna sa salamin para malaman kung hanggang saan lang dapat i-peg ang standard mo.

Kung gwapo/maganda ka, you have every right to maintain such high standards either in having a relationship or pang alis kati lang. But then, i don't mind lowering my standards a bit sa mga babae kung pang alis kati lang din......but never will i sacrifice my standards (in terms of the physical attributes) for the one i will marry someday.
