What's a good brand of washing machine (local)?

Im currently evaluating and gathering feedback on the ff twin tub (top loading) washing machine brands:

    1. 3D
    2. Sharp
    3. LG
    4. Whirlpool
    5. Panasonic
    6. Samsung

The last we had was a twin tub Whirlpool. Less than a year nasira na and it kept conking out a few months after every repair.

    LG, Panasonic and Whirlpool

we have a new washing machine its LG, so far it has a good performance prior to that our wm is National (same as Panasonic) it lasted for more than five years di naman siya sira nakukuryente lang kami kaya pinalitan namin. sa abroad our washing machine is LG, (heavy duty) okay naman.

Sharp 6 kg, washer and spin dryer, 12 years+ stil running strong both washer and dryer, nasira lang yung buzzer and once the capacitor (normal naman yon and cheap lang na piyesa). Imagine--nalubog pa ng 2x sa flood yon--motors of both washer and dryer immersed in flood water dahil nakalimutan itaas, binilad lang sa araw the following day to dry them up, and they are running again. SHARP and galing niya talaga!

scrap the samsung on your list. ours conked out a few months after the warranty expired. something went wrong with the circuit board. according to the technician, water damage was the cause. duh! now after a week it won't function again. water valve naman. it costed us 3500 for the board and 1600 for the water valve. almost 1/3 of the unit.

we had a daewoo washing machine and it lasted around 8 years. sadly wala na yata sa market.

National/Panasonic, grabe ang tibay. We had one and it only conked out on us after 13 years of faithful service.

Ok din ang Sharp Aquamagic namin ngayon. Yun nga lang, single tub na fully automatic. Laking ginhawa kasi na di mo na kailangang ilipat yung damit sa kabilang tub para i-spin dry. Drop and forget, ika nga. Isasampay mo na lang pag tapos na yung cycle. Pero IMO, medyo mahina ang pulsator, unlike other WM brands.

I was browsing through my folders of receipts and warranties of our appliances and realized our Sharp WM is already past its 14th year. And it is still working ok.

No. 1 talaga sa washing machine ang Whirlpool, jan na sila nakilala for over a decades. Tas No. 2 ang Panasonic or National. These 2 brands are the best brands for washing machine.

agree yung first sharp WM namin lasted for about 12+ years, walang sira yung body nga lang kinalawang kasi laging nababasa yung ilalim, then nung bumili ulit kami sharp ulit and i think more than 10 na din ngayon and never pa nasira.

Nice thread very timely kasi bibili ako ng washing machine buti na lang nakita ko to, so Panasonic, National at Sharp ang mga OK! ang performance

  18. #18
iisa lang ang maker ng National at Panasonic. best brands to kasi tumatagal ng 10years mahigit. yung samin binili pa nung pinanganak youngest brother ko. he's 12 years old na and so is the washing machine.

points to remember when buying a washing machine:

--yung controls niya sa taas, dapat pababa yung orientation, not flat. gets po? so when the dials get wet, magsslide pababa yung tubig,.

--ingatan yung body ng washing machine. pinakamadali tong masira pag laging nababasa.

--nerver trust those w.m.s with high-tech features such as digital timer and digital eklavu..they never last.

trust me, technician tatay ko.he knows everything about washing machines.

so there.good luck sa washing machine hunt.

*for WM repairs sa marikina area, PM nio lang ako.hehehe*
