Anyway, I'm reposting this link for those who haven't seen it. It's the infamous halftime performance of the Ateneo Drumline in the Ateneo-La Salle Game last September 6.

Walang binatbat yung iba, lalo na yung mga cheering pirates na hanggang CDC, piracy pa rin.

haha kaya pala Ateneo BBB ang walang binatbat how come na mag cocopy ng beats ang ibang school eh wala nga matugtog ang Ateneo BBB nung angasan time na sa Araneta before CDC eh hahaha puro yung Go Ateneo! next time mag popost ka dito ipagmalaki mo yung totoo hindi yung puro kayabangan ng isip mo ipopost mo pinapatawa mo naman ako eh ... kahit ayoko tumawa natatawa ako sayo ulitin ko kakatawa kasi eh "ATENEO BBB GINAGAYA mga BEAT ?? EH WALA NAMAN MAITUGTOG NUNG ANGASAN HOURS Before CDC" buti pa N.U. lufet ng mga beat nakikipag sabayan. pagmalaki mo YJ and Adu, UE i don't really like lasalle wala din sila masyado BEAT eh puro pang school lang nila ... and some tradition BEAT

hmmmm...maybe it's because the BBB and the La Salle Pep Squad are steeped on tradition and, as far as i know, walang nangangarap sa amin na maging cheerdancer for show or demonstration purposes only.

we cheer in order to encourage our team and scare our opponent.

when it comes to game time, sino sa tingin mo ang mga bumabayo? yung ADMU at DLSU o NU at ADU?

eh kung pang-show at kabakyaan lang pala hanap mo, inyong-inyo na yan

pare pareho lang naman tayong nag cheer for our teams ** kaya sana matuto kayong mag appreciate ng performance ng iba hindi yung puro kayo paninira para lang masabi na kayo ang pinakamagaling... as for Adamson and NU bilib ako sa dalawang schools na ito kahit na kakaunti ang estudyante every game their pep and drummers are always in full support to boost their morale..

but tignan ntin this season 72 kung marinig pa kayo puro bago instruments nila from Bass Drums to Snares puro bago like nung CDC isa sila sa mga matunog na side.

UE?! AdU?! For best UAAP drummers?! I'm sorry, but really, like a lot of the people here, Blue Babble Battalion and UST Yellow Jackets! My brother was a drummer for Babble when he was n high school, and I swear, I never appreciated the hard work they pulled in before that! Kaya nga kahit medyo maangas yung Babble sa tambayang bench nila sa school, okay lang kasi at crunchtime during games, they do their job: GET THE CROWD UP AND CHEERING.

And the UST YJ? Galing. And yeah, parang pareho sila ng vibe ng BBB.

By enjoying, you mean, we can sing and dance along to it?! It's a freaking cheer. Pampagana ng athletes at audience. Kailangan malakas at may dating. Ako, marinig ko nga lang yung starting beat ng "Go Ateneo" tumatayo na ko kaagad e!

OT: Gagamit ka ng ganyang nickname pero parang hindi ka naman asal sports guru. Sorry, just had to say it.

The UST Yellow Jackets and the De La Salle Pep Squad (eto ba tawag sa kanila?)

You can see the closeness of these two groups. I think that's also a big factor in determining who's the best/among the best. There's camaraderie and discipline. When these two teams meet, they will play each other's cheers and chants. Nakakatuwa.

with all due respect, i believe only ateneans enjoyed the drumline. they're boring and sintunado yung mga torotot.

sorry, but i didn't see it live. but from what was told, the drummers were taunting/pointing at the dlsu crowd. also, who wouldn't be irritated with sintunado torotots? anyways, whatever floats you're boat.

like what i've said earlier, kayo lang nag-enjoy sa drumline nyo. sabagay, yung side nyo naman ang importante kung paano nyo i-pump up ang crowd at team nyo. effective naman e so, all's well i guess. na-miss ko lang siguro makita yung hot pep squad members nyo.

Manigas kayo sa inggit wala kaming pakialam! Siguraduhin niyo lang na hindi kayo nanggagaya ng beats!

ex: Salikidu, yung beat ng Adamson na kaparehong-kapareho ng "Go Ateneo!" na kapag magkalaban yung dalawa at tumutugtog yung Adamson, sumisigaw yung Ateneo crowd ng "Go Ateneo!" Ahahahahhaa! Anyone else care to add more? Alam ko marami pa to!

Kung masakit para sa inyo pakinggan na sinasabihan kayo ng manggagaya, EH DI WAG KAYONG MANGGAYA!

Yung mga nagsasabi na boring daw ang performance ng Ateneo Drumline... bakit? nasaan ang sarili niyong drumline na parang banda ng fiesta sa probinsya? Wala pa akong nakitang performance ng drumline from other UAAP schools (UAAP ah! ang kitid kasi nung iba dito eh) na mas magaling sa ginagawa ng BBB every year.

Cheering for ourselves? Aba eh malamang! Alangan namang i-cheer namin yung kabilang team! Why should we care kung nag-eenjoy yung ibang schools sa cheer namin eh amin yun? Natural lang na kami ang mag-enjoy, hindi yung iba!

Kami lang nag-enjoy? Well, it's pretty obvious na nag-eenjoy din yung ibang schools! Kaya nga ginagaya nila eh!

Sintunado? Wala ka pala dun in person eh! Pano mo nasabing sintunado? Sa TV? Sa youtube? Ahahahahaha! Bakit? Ikaw ba marunong tumugtog nun? Kaya mo ba yung ginagawa nila? Hindi! Mamatay ka sa inggit.

Yan na naman yang taunting the crowd na yan... ilang beses na napag-usapan to at kung mali yung ginawa nila, dapat wala na rin yung "archer stance", "Beat <school name!" cheers, heck pagsamahin na rin natin yung crowds ng opposing teams at i-combine na rin natin yung mga teams! Ayaw niyo pala ng competition eh! Allergic kayo pag against sa inyo yung taunting! Eh baka pag nandito kayo sa America at mapanood niyo magcheer ang cheerleaders against each other, baka himatayin na lang kayo!

As I said, Ateneo BBB then UST YJ ang pinakamagaling. Tapos!
