    musical influences:

My first influence is my musical family starting from my grandfather National Artist for Music Felipe Padilla de Leon who composed the songs we all sing during Christmas, "Pasko na Naman" and "Noche Buena". My parents had me study violin at age 7.

After my family comes all the secondary influences from Bach to U2, from Joey Ayala to Mozart, from Indigenous Kalingga music to Traditional Indian Music, from Baroque to Keltic Fiddling. I listen to everything except for the April Boy Regino/Boybands type.

I was also exposed to the beautiful music cultures of the whole world during my high school days at Philippine High School for the Arts in Mt. Makiling.

    faves:

I have no particular favorite artist, they're all good except boybands and april boy types as i have said.

oi it's diwa de leon from the makiling ensemble!!! wow! PeXer ka pala! ehehehe....

Im a 90% music psychotic and 10% empty.
i keep myself always updated on the latest releases through the internet and radio (we dont have cable at home!). im tired of listening to baguio's local stations because the dj's are silent and most of the time corny. i'm protesting for the transition of the hive 100.3 to rj 100. i wanna set-up my own radio soon...
    my taste includes...
    natalie imbruglia
    alanis morissette
    creed
    nickelback
    train
    and a lot lot more.....
i find natalie and carolyn corr very very sexy sexy. .

I like to hang out in Record stores (Music One in Makati to be specific but they'll be moving soon to Greenbelt ) or any house with a cool selection/collection of music and kick *** speakers, I like to buy books and magazines on Music, I also love buying CDs,buying and wearing band shirts from Hot topic, mixing tracks through some cheap program etc.

    I love music too dammit!

i'm 18...turning 19 in a couple of weeks..female, and il ive in alabang. just finished my 2nd year pre-med in dlsu-taft.

i listen to variety of music...way back in gradeschool i started listening to old stuff that my parents would put on the speaker (anything from bee gees, beatles, carpenters) then in high school, i listen to whatever is on nu 107...and sad to say, i did pass thru the korn-y phase...now in college, i think i'm more confident in my tastes.

fave bands: children of bodom, slipknot, cradle of filth, theatre of tragedy, lacuna coil, dream theater, nile, morbid angel, pig destroyer, my dying bride, paradise lost, etc etc

i play the guitar and but i'm afraid the guitar seems not to like me...hehehe

wpg: uy guitar lessons naman oh! on my own lang kasi ako nag-aral...never had any formal education, so i lack the technical know-how and stuff...i'm from alabang as well!

one more thing....meron bang ibang med studes dito? wala lang, weirdo daw ako kasi di raw bagay ang doctor na metalhead...

    i listen to:
teenage fanclub, silverchair, bush, tool, dave matthews, travis, coldplay, incubus, jars of clay, sublime, that dog, eraserheads, brownbeat all stars, mighty mighty bosstones, save ferris, no doubt, weezer, eels, ash, alanis morissette, and i am a soundtrack freak.

im more of an alternative than heavy. but i also listen to other types. depende sa trip.

di ako mahilig mamuna ng pinapakinggan ng iba, kasi iba iba ang tao, iba iba rin ang gusto. kung trip nila yon, paki ko, basta trip ko to.
