Alex’s serenade for Shinae



Love this picture.
He’s so beaming whenever he sings on stage, and that candles surround him though they can spell ‘cheesy AND romantic’ at the same time, Alex still looks his best whenever he’s on stage, holding a mic. I’m curious of what he’s actually singing, but I guess we’ll find out sooner or later

Last Sunday, on MBC ‘Sunday Night - We Got Married’, the 3230-yr old Alex prepared a special song for Shinae, in which he admitted he has never done this before in his life. (and I’d really like to believe him when he said this, hehe. *wink*wink*)

The two lovebirds, went off together on a date, and later on ended up visiting the planetarium observatory. Spending some time looking at the stars and the moon through a special-built-in huge telescope (250 millions?! I lol-ed at Shinae’s innocent comment of going up to Namsan’s Tower building to see the stars through a regular telescope… hahaha, a very cute moment~). Alex said that they both were very busy, and needed to just get away to take a break. And last time, he said that he wanted to do ‘many stuffs together they haven’t done before’ with Shinae, and to see the stars was a part of the plan.

Alex, “I, too, find it hard to do the filming since Shinae will be very busy, so it’s okay. Though she is not the person who would show her suffering, I’m still worried for her as I can see it from her face. (yeah, so he does know how to read her, like Shinae said. ***~~). I want to be there for her, to support her.”

As we know from last Sunday’s episode, Alex sang a song he especially prepared for Shinae (Ryu Jae Ha’s You In My Arms). Shinae mentioned that she has never seen him (so nervous) like that before. (and it does look like she really enjoyed being with him, to take a break from life, and allowing Alex to sweep her off her feet. Ah~~ my imagination is picturing her floating off the ground in happiness, haha.)

The two of them spent their last shooting for WGM with their fans. Shinae even baked cookies and prepared some gifts for the 112 fans gathered at the event. (I don’t know why this article mentioned the exact numbers, but 112 sounded about decent… for 600 people, they would have to hire a security, lol. jk!)

Just read the news (thanks _shin_ <3 for the link), aigoo.. looks like they were shooting the last final one from 7pm to well past 1am… and Shinae shed tears =( It’ll be heart-breaking to watch it, but I’ll keep in mind that they still can contact each other though we’ll need our CSI in Korea to stalk them for us.. kekeke.. just kidding.
Oh and the PD and staffs handed them flower bouquets for the final farewell. This is so sweet~ and I’m hoping to watch with as little editing as possible. *fingers-crossed*

The end is getting near… and though I can still smile and pretend I’m okay, I don’t think I will be when the episode is finally broadcasting (hopefully in the next 2 weeks? Gosh I hate that we don’t know for sure if the final broadcast will be this weekend or next week. sigh.)

WASHINGTON – Barack Obama was elected the nation's first black president Tuesday night in a historic triumph that overcame racial barriers as old as America itself.

The son of a black father from Kenya and a white mother from Kansas, the Democratic senator from Illinois sealed his victory by defeating Republican Sen. John McCain in a string of wins in hard-fought battleground states — Ohio, Florida, Virginia and Iowa.

A huge crowd in Grant Park in Chicago erupted in jubilation at the news of Obama's victory. Some wept.

McCain called to concede defeat — and the end of his own 10-year quest for the White House.

Obama and his running mate, Sen. Joseph Biden of Delaware, will take their oaths of office as president and vice president on Jan. 20, 2009.

As the 44th president, Obama will move into the Oval Office as leader of a country that is almost certainly in recession, and fighting two long wars, one in Iraq, the other in Afghanistan.

The popular vote was close, but not the count in the Electoral College, where it mattered most.

There, Obama's audacious decision to contest McCain in states that hadn't gone Democratic in years paid rich dividends.

Obama has said his first order of presidential business will be to tackle the economy. He has also pledged to withdraw most U.S. combat troops from Iraq within 16 months.

Fellow Democrats rode his coattails to larger majorities in both houses of Congress. They defeated incumbent Republicans and won open seats by turn.

First off, thanks to the warm welcome from the old and new spazzers!!

I've watched ep 32 several times already. This episode shows how much Shillang had matured - from ep 9 where he was tagged as 'the little kid groom" to this last episode. I think they stopped calling him 'the little kid groom' when they went to that ant tour - esp. after they saw him give his Buin a nice back massage. Their conversation while Buin was giving him a massage is pleasant to my eyes and ears.

In ep 32, Shillang has become the husband that is taking over the household - with confidence. He is beginning to show Buin he is the man of the house and that she has to follow his lead. I'm glad Buin finally realized she can't escape the word 'love' when it starts knocking at her door. HJ/Shillang has long ignored their age difference and has given her so many hints - am sure HJ/Shillang is happy.

My fave part in this ep (other than the jealous streak that I find really amusing - and makes my heart flutter), is HJ getting annoyed with his bandmates - because he is soooo jealous. In my opinion, he is getting jealous with KJ and Baby HJ - esp. KJ who is more close to HB. KJ did what Shillang is supposed to do - talk to Buin's mom - and said what Shillang should have said - will come and visit Buin's mom.

HJ/Shillang didn't have to say romantic words - he shows it - by being jealous - skirt too short for his friends to see - shooing them out of the kitchen - he wants to be with Buin in the kitchen - alone! But - he was able to show them Buin is his - rubbing her neck in front of them - too intimate.

MsJoelle - love that MV - HB is the woman HJ described in one of his interviews - a woman who would understand him - and care for him. I really, really hope they become one.

And since they will continue to be with WGM until the end of the year (I think they did advance filming until the end of the year), I hope to see their family as guests in future episodes. And I hope they continue until they want to.

Just like the rest of you, I feel and look stupid sometimes walking to the bus stop (I take the bus on weekdays - gas is still high for me - company pays for my transportation) with a smile on my face. There is not a single minute that I didn't imagine or think about JoongBo - that's how crazy I have become of them.

I sincerely hope that he'll be able to turn the tables around. The world market's a mess. Imagine, when I went here the AU-peso conversion was 1 AUD = 40 PHP... now it's 1 AUD = 33 PHP (a few days ago it was 1 AUD = 29 PHP). But if you'd look at it from the Philippine peso's perspective it's not bad at all. Mwehehehe!


Anway, can I just say that I was surprised that the results are already out. In the Philippines, it usually takes what...3 months? LOL! Mabuhay!

One mor e thing, NOVEMBER is definitely hottie month! Imagine Ethan, Binbin, OTT, and Ryo were all born in November! Wahooo!

Hello Ulzzangs!

Daan lang pero this post of MsJoellecaught my attention and i just want to explain myself...

It's not that I DON'T LIKE JoongBo, if i do i would not even watch their cuts on We Got Married and skip it altogether...

I don't Dislike Hwang Bo nor do i really adore her... My feelings for her are neutral as of this point in time...

I started liking Hyun Joong for Hyun Joong alone and not because he's part of the couple called JoongBo and maybe that's where the difference between us lies...

If you remember, even before he started on We Got Married and even before Hwang Bo and him got comfortable with each other, i was already spazzing over him to high heavens...

So i admit there is somewhat a possessive streak in me in terms of Boylet since i use to have him all to myself in the thread and I now have to share him with a lot of people but only in that capacity...(Much like how MsJoelle used to be with Song Seung Hun or gracielle with OTT or Orangekai with YamaPi or City_Girl with Ethan).

However, that does not mean that i will cry my eyes out if ever he does fall in love with Hwang Bo or any other girl for that matter... i would be more than happy if and when that does happen just as long as he's happy himself but so far, there is no solid evidence yet outside of WE GOT MARRIED that he is seriously committed to anyone....

I do like noona-dongsaeng relationships majorly because most of the series that i get to like have relationships such as these (What's up Fox?, Kim Sam Soon, Sweet Seoul etc...)...

It's not particulary because it's a noona-dongsaeng relationship that i get to like the show but it's because I liked the series period and in effect, loved the relationships that go along with the show... I think this also started since majority of my crushes are younger than me, hence i posted that i'm a fan of noona-dongsaeng lovin' in reference to my penchant for liking younger boys...

I like KSA for Binnie since i started liking Binnie in My Name is Kim Sam Soon... and i just adoreeeeeeee the relationship of Sam Shik and Sam Soon in the series which spilled over to me liking their offscreen personas... Somehow, since it's my most favorite KDrama of all time... the fervent desire for them to end up together had been an INDIVIDUAL wish of mine inside my own bubble although i know there is a zero to nil percent chance of that happening for real...

As i mentioned countless of times in my post in the past, I love WE GOT MARRIED as a show and i think whoever conceptualized this show had the most brilliant idea at that time that this was produced, planned and executed... I enjoy all of the couples but that does not mean that "KINIKILIG" ako sa kanila... (I mean i like JInyoung and i think they really make a great couple but i don't spazz over their sweet moments...)

As of the moment, i only get the crazy with Kilig feeling like you feel with JoongBo with AnBi and not even because they're Andy and Solbi but because i somehow relate and see myself with Solbi... AlShin comes a close second (albeit only recently!) since i also think that Alex used to be over the top with his grand romantic gestures but now that they have began to fool around and joke around with each other, i started liking them coz it seems more like a real relationship (Romance+Fun+Responsibility)....

As you mentioned previously in the thread, to each his own... and maybe JoongBo just does not do it for me the same way that AnBi does not do it for you guys... But i still respect your choices and i try my best not to rain down on your parade since i like seeing all ulzzangs happy... At the end of the day, it's still the friendships i made here that i treasure greatly rather than my oppas, geges, senpais and favorite couples combined...

I would still greatly appreciate the JoongBo cuts if you're still willing to give it since again, i do enjoy watching their segments... (I laugh the most whenever it's JoongBo or JInyoung)... but i hope that i won't also be judged based on me liking them or not liking them because i don't want to ride in on the bandwagon for the sake of being "IN" ...

Trust me Mich... if and when i do join you guys, you can be assured that it is because i sincerely, truly, helplessly see the "kilig" between them already and perhaps you would get tired of me peppering the pages with news and pictures about them... hehehe!

Here’s another one of my favorite scenes….the piggy back shots of them. They just looked so blissfully happy, all smiles the whole time! I thought maybe this is their substitute to holding hands…so sweet…to me this is more intimate coz they are that close to each other! HB is practically inches away from his face and it’s like hugging him from behind….Kyaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh…*signals for the cute medic to come

as for chonsa's news, yeah, i love that --- atleast it is ALREADY CONFIRMED that we'll see them til end of the year ... sure kasi ako when they counted the epis 2 for Everland and 2 for House epi yung nilagay dun. so medyo kulang na yung count since they've already shown the house epi this week and til next week ata. so make that everland + house = 3 instead of 4 haha. im not also sure if 2 epis yung Busan. feeling ko isa lang yun e. so kelangan pa talaga mag-shoot!!!

actually, i think though KJ is younger than Shillang, somehow, i think he's more mature. the only thing i dont like bout him is the fact that he's afraid of dogs haha. pero that was becoz of a bad experience when he was a kid so okay lang.

nauna ko napansin yung maturity nya when they guested in WGM house warming epi, he doesnt have that "im-a-kid" aura in him compared to the other guys. in Japan epi, i love how he and KHJ Baby treated Buin - when they helped her -- again, THE HIGH 5's!!! also in that epi, he was the one who told Shillang that he should eat the food prepared by his Buin first before trying other food. when i watched Thank You For Waking Us Up, he's always the first to wake up. and then now, out of the blue, he talked to Buin's mom. plus the fact that he easily said Buin is an example of a PRETTY & KIND girl --- iba dating when he said it, parang it's normal for someone as kind as him to say that pero when Shillang was the one who mentioned that -- PURO KILIG yung na-feel natin di ba? haha.

parang there are lots of little things we can see from KJ that would turn out as HUGE devts if Shillang will do those for Buin hehe. hmm, i wanna check tuloy my old post re: Japan episode. i wanna know what i thought of KJ that time. parang sya nga una ko naging kras before si Hyung Joon Baby hehe.

True...true....it might get ugly! I don't know if I can handle seeing my hottie doc giving CPR to anyone else....But, oh that's the beauty of it, they make us faint....so they have to fix us back w/ our version of CPR...wet smooches!

Of course! How can I burst your bubble if I don't know anything about them. Up till now, I'm still reading Anbi thread after Alshin and also Joongbo. Jinyoung lang talaga ang wala akong interest at alam kong alam mo kung bakit. Don't worry, I still find Joongbo as entertaining as before.
