read morehindi po ako nagrequest ng credit limit increase kasi kaka increase lang nila sa account ko last may 2012 when i asked them to update my ITR. i think hindi po maganda sa paningin ng bank kung laging maxed out ang credit limit....may negative effect po yan sa paghahandle mo ng card...
May I know how it affects my credit handling?
Lahat naman paid in full 1 week before due date. Nakapag revolve lang ako ng 2 months last April and May dun sa isa lang but after that full payment na ulit sila.
So no credit limit increase, pero pinadalhan ako ng isa pa na card (third with them). Sabi ng CSR binibigay daw nila yun voluntary to accounts with good credit standing. And also I charge them my bills and other primary purchases plus may installments pa, kaya almost 95% talaga ang usage ko monthly.
Since you mentioned the ITR, siguro I should update them with mine na rin.
Thanks in advance.![]()
In my dad's case, yung BPI credit card nya laging maxed out. In a span of 3 years his credit limit regularly increased from an initial 10k to 300k today.
I think our local banks may have different policies regarding this. If we are in the US though, exceeding 30% of your credit limit on a regular basis would hurt your credit score.
when i was a csr ng certain bank, nkikita ko ang credit score ng cardholders with maxed out credit limit, it has a low credit score if compared to those who were not maximizing their credit limit...better send them your latest ITR so they could update as well your credit limit.
as for me, i started with citi classic visa with php15k credit limit, now my credit limit is php250k na (with citi for 3 yrs).
Hindi ba ok lang na i max out mo ang card or kahit 70-99% ang gamitin mo as long as mababayaran mo lahat yun before the due date.
Then nung ginagamit na nya and lagi nya nama-max out, almost every 3 months nag-i-increase.
So that explains why madali ka magpa-waive ng AFs. I think most banks, mga tipong 200k per annum na na-swipe waived agad ang Annual Fees. 20k a month is too much for me hehe. I wonder kung meron nakakapagpa-waive without spending too much? Baka hanggang 3k a month (consistent) lang kaya ko haha
by the way their latest promo is free umbrella for those who attended the travel expo in SMX MOA
Gano katagal bago ulit pwede magrequest in increase in CL? Nagrequest ako last May nareject.
