A CB rep called me a few weeks ago and said they had this free-for-life promo for supplementary cards. That means the annual fee will be waived forever on those supp. cards. Ok na rin. I got one, anyway, free naman daw eh.

after 3 declines, may tumawag ngayon from CITIBANK (sana totoo) nagooffer ng personal loan then nag offer din ng Credit Card.
Hi not necessary kailangan na mag submit ka ng ITR ako nag apply ako with Citi nag ask sila sa akin to submit an ITR and then sabi ko I dont need to submit that and i already included my existing credit card with other bank with my application sabi ko dun kayo mag verify and then sabi nila okay Sir. So ayun na approved naman application ko.
Hi. A Citibank Rep called me last Wednesday and asked me to submit all the necessary financial documents. Then nasubmit ko siya ng Thursday. Ilang days ang dapat kong hintayin to know if approved yung application ko? I mean, how will I know? Is it through email or phone call? Wala kasi binigay sa akin na reference number yung Rep so I can't check it through their hotline. Thanks in advance!![]()
^it doesn't say PLATINUM on the card itself and the annual fee is only Php2,000 vs. Php5,000 annual fee for platinum cards
^You sure? I think I can see the word PLATINUM in this photo, right above the MasterCard logo:
I bet this is another "platinum-platinuman" card by Citi, just like their Cebu Pacific Platinum Visa Card (PhP 2,800 annual fee).
I like the free movie pass feature though, if it would be permanent. But, knowing Citibank, that is unlikely.
I must have viewed the image on the general page so I missed that due to color blending of the design. http://www.citibank.com.ph/gcb/credi...edit_cards.htm
The Cebu Pacific card info page indicated the platinum benefits but the rewards card info page did not mention any platinum related benefits.
^That's because those platinum benefits are provided by Visa and not by MasterCard.
yes, i know. at least they could have listed the platinum benefits under mastercard, if any exists.
Labo ng Citibank. They sent me a text saying I'm eligible for a xx,xxx credit limit increase and all I had to do was call 995-9999 within 8 days, so I did. The rep told me within 5-7 banking days daw mapo-process. I followed it up after 7 days then they told me I had to submit financial docs pa. Helloooo, I never asked for an increase in the first place. I'd rather not go through the hassle of getting my updated ITR etc pa for that, I just thought it would be useful to have a little extra since I charge all my utilities/groceries to my card.
Since may salary is thru Citi, I do most of my banking with them, though I never applied for a Citi credit card.
But earlier this year, due to an upcoming trip, I figured it would be nice to get another card, so I applied for a card thru their website. Though I didn't send in any forms or docs, I figured I'd just wait for their call, but it never came.
Fast forward about 8 weeks later, I get a Premiere Miles Platinum card in the mail. But when I called them, apparently it was a promo, and from what I gathered had nothing to do with my application 8 weeks earlier.
But basically all they did was email me a form that I had to sign, with no additional docs needed. Sent it back via email, and 2 days later the card was active. So far so good.
Despite the non-reply to my online application, I'm relatively happy with Citi so far. Certainly much better vs my experiences with HSBC for example.
paanu ba magpa waive ng annual fee sa citi? ang hirap kausapin ng csr. dapat ba talaga malaki yung monthly bills mu?
for my gold visa and gold mastercard, tinawag ko lang noon when i got billed, chineck lang ng csr ang account ko then after checking sabi nya qualified daw ako to have my annual fee to be waived. ayun, waived na ang annual fees ko for both gold cards, ndi lang yun, may annual fee discount pa na binigay sa account ko.... so happy with citibank..kaya ayun nakapag apply tuloy ako ng rewards card waiting for the approval....sayang din kasi ang movie passes![]()
