    Yes, they have the poorest customer service. Super tagal kung may sasagot na buhay na tao on the other end of the line.

    I applied for their CC last September or October mainly due to their Rudy Project Watch promo.

    After 3 weeks, may tumawag. Tagalog na nga kung magsalita, parang kaibigan lang ang kausap niya at tawa ng tawa. Apparently, ang lumabas na date of birth ko sa online application ko for some reason is 1930s...kaya nagulat daw siya at hindi boses matanda ang kausap ...Basta, very unprofessional.

    Akala ko dati malala na ang customer service ng BDO specially when they starting their CC business pero itong EW and pinaka-malala!

    Awa ng Diyos, hanggang ngayon wala pa din akong EW CC kahit na nakapag-background check na sila. Ok lang, hindi na din ako interesado sa kanila.

    I agree their customer service is so bad. I waited 30 mins to be answered tapos every simle question i ask i will be placed on hold, so it took almost an hour. Ang masama pa paiba iba sya ng answer to my question so hold uli for 10mins.. tapos when i clarified... hold uli hehehe.. so I was placed on hold longer than I was talking to her.. I did got my card activated the same call so atleast I got something from my long wait.

    Nag-apply kame ng mga officemates ko ng cc sa EWB since ito ang bank ng company namen. Last Nov.26 CI kameng lahat. Then Jan. 7 ata dumating na yung cc nung isang officemate namen. At til now wala pa ang samen. Di man lang namen ma-check status ng application namen, lage na lang "your credit card application is not yet on file" or pag may kausap naman na csr, lage sinasabi nag-uupdate ng system tawag after 5 working days.. Hay, kaloka talaga.. Di na namen inaasahan yun.

    nga pala sa house nung mailing address ng officemate ko na pinadalhan ng pre-approved cc and the rest dito sa office. then kahapon daw tinawagan na naman yung isa namang officemate ko ng EWB for CI again.. Funny nga coz sabi nya hindi na daw yung bisayang agent ang nag-CI sa kanya..hehe

    i applied for the card lang online ng dec 2007. jan 2008 dumating na yung card. may tumawag lang sakin once para iverify ang mailing address.. ni hindi ako tinanong about my income and such. pero before kasi ako nag-apply sa kanila, hsbc cardholder na ko for 3 years. ok yung eastwest kasi mababa interest compared to others. just make sure na wag mo sasagarin yung limit dahil maloloka ka sa computation nila ng charges. malabo policy nila when it comes to applying overlimit fees. also, tru yung sinabi nung iba na they have poor customer service.. as in ang hirap makakuha ng csr pag tumawag ka sa kanila. tumawag ako dati, 30 mins before may sumagot.. goodluck naman sakin e cellphone gamit ko.. tsaka mababa lang sila magbigay ng credit limit.. so di ko na ginagamit masyado yung card.. basta kung kelangan na lang.

    Hindi na ako natutuwa sa EastWest. Their online banking facility has been down for a few months now, and lately statements are also delivered late.

    For that, yung UnionBank na ang main card ko now. Although crappy din ang call center service, always updated naman ang online facility.

    I admit to have been offered an East-West Bank Credit Card. Di ako nainis. In fact, natawa ako, because up until right now, di ko talaga siya ma-activate. Everytime I call, their lame answering machine lets you wait for 100 years. Pano kaya pag ninakaw na yung credit card niyo sa East-West? Even their Lost/Stolen Credit Card menu sa kanilang so-called 24/7 hotline, patay ka na, di ka pa rin nila ma-entertain. Sorry to say, but East-West Credit Card is by far the worst credit card issuer to date....

    last week may nag CI saken from East West..i applied online last january,but i was never able to submit my payslip at employee ID kasi d ko pa na scan..the problem is,pwede pa kaya ihabol un?..kasi nun kausap ko un agent,nakalimutan ko itanong,tapos confirm nya kung may makakausap sya sa teletech,kasi kahit ako diko sure kung yung hotline number is live agent may makakausap sya..eh gusto ko sana maaprove hopefully,lagi ako declined sa bpi at citibank,i never had a CC..binigay ko number ng boss ko..yun lang,tapos wait daw ng 2wks for result..so im totally lost anong mangyayari>?kayo ba nagsubmit ng requiremnts nun first time nyo nagaply?

    funny thing happened this afternoon. an agent called at tinanong kung nag apply ako online. sabi ko oo. tinanong ako kung nakapagsubmit na ko reqts. sabi ko oo. tpos tanong sya kung interested pa ba ako. sabi ko oo. then sabi nya wait ako for 2two weeks processing. sabi ko wag na. kasi 2 buwan ko ng gamit yung card. siguro napahiya sya sabi na lang nya a ganun ba sir sige po salamat. hahaha!!!

    You're so mean.. Dapat sinabi mo na meron ka na.. or nagrequest ka na lang ng increase sa credit limit mo ..

    Ako parang naalangan ako mag-apply sa EastWest Bank kasi sabi ng nakakarami sa Forum na ito, sila ang may pinakamahirap na ma-contact ang CSR. Down pa ang Online System nila.. Tapos forever pa bago dumating ang approved card.. Siguro kahit mababa ang interest nila, ayaw ko pa rin kasi sa Credit Card ang hinahanap ko ay yung madaling matawagan ang CSR, para pag nagkaroon ng aberya malulunasan agad. Siguro pagtyagaan ko na lang sa BDO kahit na-declined ako last year.. ***** try ko mag-apply sa June.. Sana ma-approved..

    sinabi ko naman nung bandang huli kaya nga biglang natameme. panu ba naman he is the third person who did the same thing. in a month's time. grabe and system ng east west. sa increase in limit, i did this when i received the card. di ko pinaactivate hanggat hindi nila tataasan. ang sabi magpadala lang ng letter atsaka billing statement ng credit card ko (other), ginawa ko pinadala ko lahat. ayun after three weeks approved naman yung hiningi kong limit. in terms of customer service, mabilis na sila at very corteous na unlike before. 2 na din ang hotline numbers nila!

    Nice!! hmmm... parang gusto ko na ulit, subukang mag-apply ah.. Meron na kasi akong UnionBank Titanium & BPI World Perks.. gawin kong extension CC ng mga Bros. at kay Erpatz, ko para hndi na sila nakiki- swipe sa Own CC ko..

    got a call from east west about a pre-approved cc. sabi ko, sige, padala niyo. even though i already have 6 other cards (pero isa lang ang ginagamit ko). mapilit siya e. hehe. i don't really have a use for it pero since free naman yung first year....

    No you're not doing anything wrong. It's a problem with their website. Although I've experienced this before, they still called a couple of days later so it means they received the application even though the page displayed an error.

    6days na since tumawag sila,tapos eto yung HSBC din nag CI nun friday,nagtatangap ba sila ng applicants na callcenter yung job?
