ngayon kung babayaran mo lahat ng inutang mo on or before due date, di walang interest. ( or i hope so na wala ngang interest)..
When my Credit Card is approved, can I use Cash Advance agad???
Cash Advance in East West is Half of your Credit limit. Tapos I read na pwede pang gawing installment payment.
Is this really a good thing for us, or another gimik???
i just received a call last friday from east west csr. for approval na daw ang card koang tagal ng processing nila. almost 2 months yata yun pero twice na sila tumawag this month. ayun, im waiting for my card to be delivered this week.
pag nagdeposit ba ng 250k sa eastwest, magkakaron me ng REGULAR credit card (not secured credit card)?
Yes they have a referral program wherein you will be given a free watch for 1 to 3 referrals. You will be given a higher priced item the more referrals you have. (http://www.eastwestbanker.com/info/promo_mgm.asp)
As for the free watch for approved online applications, it is only applicable if you clicked on a link from JobsDB.com and 88DB.com that leads to the EastWest Bank MasterCard - FREE Rudy Project watch online card application page. (http://www.eastwestbanker.com/info/promo_rudyproj.asp)
I hope that's clear.
I'm an EastWest CC user for more than two years. Everything was smooth before except the last quarter of 2008 up to now. The main problem is their customer service...the poorest in the credit card industry. I don't have much problem on customer service with BPI, BDO, HSBC, Unionbank and Citibank CCs. Try your luck reaching an operator with 888-1700, and don't bother emailing them. If you hit the jackpot of talking to a CSR, months are waited for your problems/complaints addressed and solved.
I have maximized using this card since indeed, it has the lowest interest rates; yet when I reached near the credit limit serious problems occur such as double charging, late posting of payments made, and wrongly placing debit as credit transactions. Wanting to address errors on your bills and anticipating a "reasonable" reversal time? Wait for months until you're deaf listening to Eastwest's jingle! Add to that the misfortune that I lost my card last Oct 08 and until now I'm still waiting for the replacement. The reason for the delay? Wow! that's what the CSR told to me one "lucky" day that I get through their phone service after waiting in line for almost 30 minutes, a "standard" answer for irate customers for a standard phone waiting time.
i totally agree with the poor customer service. ako it took one year bago na approved yung card ko. ang weird pa e nung pinadala sakin yung card, pre-approved daw at qualified ako. duh? pero na redeem naman ng east west ang credibility nito sakin kasi nung pinadala sakin yung card, ang liit ng limit. so sabi ko hindi ko ipapaactivate kapag hindi tinaasan limit ko. ang sabi magpasa lang ako wither ng payslip or credit card statement. ginawa ko naman, ang sabi iprocess daw. after two weeks nag follow up ako, kung hindi pa ako tumawag, di ko malalaman na na approved yung increase na gusto ko. so happy naman ako. hehe...

Poor customer service!
I waited so long to get an available operator. I also experienced not being able to connect to their number using Bayantel and even PLDT landlines!
