^Oo nga, dati babalikan mo pa ang driver's license pagkalipas ng ilang araw, ngayon isang araw na lang.
And LTO has offices which are conveniently located like near malls. There's one in Ayala MRT station where you can wait in air-conditioned comfort.
Julie Yap Daza wrote in her column yesterday that even in this age of internet there are more bookstores now in the Phil.
I counted the ones I see.
1. National Book Store
2. Power Books
3. A Different Kind of bookstore
4. Goodwill
5. Book Sale
6. Books for Less
But I miss Alemar's and A Filipino Book Store/Bookmark.
^ Oh yes, I missed it, probably because I haven't gone inside that bookstore yet.
Dati ang mga kalalakihan nagtiyatiyaga lang sa mga tabloids like TONITE, ABANTE and TIKTIK for smut or to see half naked chicks,
Ngayon meron nang FHM PHIL, Maxim and PLAYBOY Philippines. Classy pa! O ha!
Kung hindi ka pa nakuntento dun, meron ding boybastos.com or 1000pinaycelebs.com and all the scandal sites. O-HA!![]()
Not so much garbage around di katulad dati.
^Well, for me, if there's more than 1 dominant player in the market, then there's no monopoly. PLDT is no longer showing monopolistic behavior. Previously, people had to wait for ages to get a telephone connection. Now PLDT encourages people to have a landline (In their ad, "Iba pa rin ang may landline". And there's now a prepaid landline, the Teletipid). Internet connection used to be so expensive but when Globe introduced its P888 internet package, PLDT lowered its charges.
Probably, having 3 players still poses the risk of price collusion. But as of now, there doesn't seem to be one. Globe and Smart both advertise heavily which indicates competition. The newest entrant Sun challenges the 2 with innovative offers like unlimited text, then unlimited calls, etc. and Smart and Globe counter with their own offers.
