just to answer your queries, barry watson left the show when became sick and has returned as a semi-regular now that he has recuperated. some episodes in the past season had him with little hair due to his therapy. during the time he was away, he actually worked offcam contributing to the scripts.

the character of simon camden was written out this season but he will be back next season.

we will likely have a very short gap between season 8 and 9. we might launch season 9 by march or april. season 8 should end january or early february.

much as we would want to reduce reruns, its tough when US shows only produce 22 episodes per year. the only alternative would be to remove them from the air at certain points to minimize repeats but it also affects the commercials of the show if it keeps going in and out of the schedule. hopefully, this run though of season 8 and 9 should be fairly streamlined.

about robbie..bigla na lang nag quit yung actor..it was unplanned sa totoo nga, there was an episode na dapat siya yung unang nakakilala kay peter..but it was changed kase nga Adam LaVorgna left the show..and sinabi na lang sa show na robbie went to florida to take care of his mom..

Mary is simply mentioned in passing nalang most of the time in the episodes lately.
even during the time when [spoiler start]she gave birth[spoiler end]... it was part of the storyline for an episode but she didn't appear 'coz she's supposedly based in New York na yata?

yup..hindi nga lumalabas si mary pero she's menioned from time to time..i think it was jessica biel's decision to not be on the show anymore..but im not sure if she won't ever come back..

i remember seeing Jess in an interview before saying that she didn't want to be associated with Mary Camden forever, that's why she left the show. remember, she was only 17 when she posed topless for a magazine (forgot which one).
