I have a problem with my card, anlaki ng floating transactions ko.

While I was out of the country chine-check ko gabi-gabi yung balance ko, ok naman yung mga naka-float hindi naman sya doble. So pano nangyari un!

18k ++ yung total hay. canned response lang ang nakuha ko. and i have my card for more than 3 years and i'm paying my annual fee. hay.

I don't know, I'm stumped. And they can't help me.

I think you have to settle first your total balance before you can actually cut your card with them.

Most of the time, HSBC has been lenient waiving this kind of charge if one has used their CC well... Nevertheless, the bank is getting stricter for these perks...
That's why I'm getting ready to give up my HSBC CC even after being with them for almost 3 years.

badtrip na block nanaman yung card ko, 2nd time na this year. may hacking attempt nanaman daw. btw, I was able to shave 50% on my annual fee this year. sabi kase nila pag nag subscribe ka sa mga services nila like credit protect plus, kaya nila i-waive yung fee.

    1. I spend more than 50k a month and never paid late.
    2. I spent around 70k for my sister's international plane ticket. Nagrequest ako ng Straight 2 Installment, DECLINED!!!. The fact I have good standing. Maganda sana sa part nila yun kung inapprove nila.. dahil magakakaroon sila ng fixed interest per month, pero due to my unsatisfaction, binayaran ko ng FULL yung amount before the due date. SO WALA SILANG INTEREST na nakuha sakin.
    3. I have 41,500 bonus points, gusto ko ipaconvert into miles. So ginawa ko yun. Tumawag ulit ako.. after 3 weeks pa daw before ma credit yung miles. After 2.5 weeks, just to be sure, kasi di pa naccredit yung miles ko, sabi nila DECLINED daw kasi kulang daw yung miles! Anong kulang dun?
    4. I want to apply for a supplementary card, alang response.
    5. Due to that I never paid partial amount, laging full. Wala silang kikitain saking interest.

    Just my experience....

Very bad service - undeserving and ungrateful I would say. I will close my card with them too (VISA Gold) pag decline nila request to waive annual fee. Wala naman silang matinong promo na this time.

Oo nga eh.. wala na nga..
Pinagtityagaan ko muna ito hangga't wala pa akong replacement from other bank. Nasa abroad pa kasi ako, pero uwi ako this 16th of June apply agad ako hopefully maapprovan agad. I heard mabilis daw sa BPI 3 banking days approve agad basta with good standing. And maraming good feedback based sa thread ng BPI CC users.

pareho tayo ng experience regarding straight to installment request with HSBC. i also requested to convert 37k to installment tapos declined un request. dati naman palagi naaapprove un request ko. i didn't bother asking for the reason bakit nadecline kasi for sure di naman nila ididisclose. yun total balance ko tuloy naging 84k. kala siguro nila di ko kaya bayadan ng buo and thought mas malaki ang makukuha nila na interest saken in case di ko mabayadan. well, sorry sila.. binayadan ko na ng buo ang balance ko tapos nag-email ako sa kanila, sabi ko they will never see any new transactions on my account (pero joke lang yun.. titignan ko lang sana kung maghahabol ba sila sa customer). good standing din un account ko with them tapos di nila iaapprove un S2i, e para saan pa un S2i program na yun, di ba? Anyway, nagreply sila sa message ko. sorry for the inconvenience daw and "we appreciate your feedback". sad.. wala sila pakialam kung di ko na gamitin yun card nila.. wala man lang offer to winback a customer.

regarding annual fees, for the past five years, palaging waived un annual fees nun saken including supplementary. although one time, half lang yun na-waive sa isang supplementary ko. this year, they upgraded my card to gold so mas malaki yun annual fee.. may old card is due for renewal May 2012 and they upgrade my card Feb 2012. When I saw the annual fee entries sa statement ko, i call them asking bakit nacharge ako ng annual fee kagad samantalang sabi saken nun agent nila who offered the upgrade, waived un annual fee for the first year. Sabi naman ng agent, applicable lang daw yun for new cards..since upgrade lang naman daw yun saken, i still need to pay for the renewal. sabi ko, kung alam ko lang na di pala mawewaive yun annual fee, e di sana di ko na lang pina-upgrade kasi sayang din yun 5k (principal and 2 supplementary). Then the agent said maganda naman daw un records ko so request nya daw na mawaive yun annual fees.

about mabuhay miles, it takes 3 weeks talaga to convert the points. hassle na ngayon unlike before na mabilis magtransfer ng points to mabuhay miles. so far, wala naman ako naencounter na issue with points-to-miles conversion other than long waiting time..

i also have BPI CC.. and i like their service a lot.. palagi din waived un annual fees ko sa kanila. another good thing about BPI, waived for life yun annual fee ng first supplementary. kaso maliit yun credit limit sa kanila. i only have 33k CL with them while 180k sa hsbc.. i started with 15k limit sa BPI then kusa na lang nila ni-increase-an to 20k then 25k then now 33k. same with hsbc, automatic din un pag-increase from 50k to 90k to 120k then to 180k.

Basta pag hindi nila i-wawaive, tell them you'll have your card cut.
