Most subdivisions po sa Cainta binabaha. Pero Village East is one subdivision which has good set of homeowner's association officers. They get things done for their village. I know because i used to go there almost everyday (dun kase located yung church namin) but i live next to it, sa Country Homes.

And don't be afraid of the flood. It just passes by in a matter of hours.

    aajao,

what about going to work? Makati or ortigas? lapit lang ba? how many hours and km ang biyahe?

    thanks

Don't worry about the flood. Tubig lang yan.

k lang. no problem, nung August lang naman ako umalis eh and ilang taon ko na ring binuno yang baha sa Cainta.

oh well, pag umuulan ng tuloy-tuloy, yung mga light vehicles usually pinaparada na sa matataas na daan within the vicinity rin naman ng subdivision. pag bumaha sa Imelda Avenue, ibig sabihin mas mataas ang baha sa mga subdivisions. Not passable sa light vehicles yun pag ganun.

    Any more comments?

gusto ko naman malaman yung biyahe papuntang work.
going to makati or Ortigas.... gaano katagal byahe, how many KM etc

bakit nawala na yung ibang taga-Cainta? nag-migrate na yata eh.

    side comment

.. aajao, im not sure if tama *** reaction ko or what..
parang bigla ata kong natawa nung sinabe mong nammiss mo *** baha sa Cainta...
..Though next town pa kame, taytay to be exact.. hirap na hirap
**** ko pag umuulan lalo na pagbaha.. haaaaaaaay

gen_mheloy.. depende sa time un eh, pag early morning as in super early like 5am or 6am siguro going to makati, or ortigas
if magagaling kang junction, less than an hour makakarating ka na dun sa workingplace mo. pro pag 7am onwards na and dadaan ka pang junction-ever, siguro going to makati almost two hours kse traffic na nun sa ever gotesco area eh..if ortias naman one hour and thirty minutes..

hi gen_mheloy I got your pm... you couldn't be any closer to the truth with what you said about *migrating*..... I still consider Cainta my home (my Mom and my sister still lives there) , I haven't lived there in years....but I'll try to answer you questions anyway.

I think your trip will best be measured by how LONG will it take for you to get to Ortigas or Makati..

but honestly, I can't help you with that sorry....I don't remember. But good luck anyway

miumiu haha! i'm partly kidding, partly telling the truth... "na-miss ko ang baha sa Cainta." i never miss to take a long walk out of our subdivision just to attend church services in Village East every Thursdays and Sundays... kahit baha marami naman kami, kaya masaya at OK lang.

gen_mheloy tama sabi ni miumiu, pag 6AM (or earlier) ka umalis from Junction-Ortigas, you'll be in Makati in a flash. pag inabot ka ng 7AM, you'll be late if you have to be in Makati by 8am. But there's an alternative road from Imelda Avenue going to Ortigas... dadaan ka sa Gate 5 ng Karangalan Village (opposite Vista Verde) and ang labas mo, Rosario na. Or you can go straight Libis at lumabas ka sa White Plains. Daming alternate routes. You could be near the metropolis (Ortigas, Makati, Quezon City, Greenhills), and you can be near the province (Tanay, Laguna, Tagaytay, Cavite).

oh well... i hope this helped.

I used to live in Cainta but I have now transferred to Makati.

Anyway, my only complaint about Cainta is that ma-traffic talaga sya. The traffic situation along Ortigas Avenue during rush hours is horrible.

  14. #94
travel from cainta to makati via ayala fx 1-1/2 hr pag traffic na un. to ortigas naman i think 1 hr.

accessible naman from makati kasi me fx na hanggang valley golf.

I went to village east itong sunday lang. ok yung lugar tahimik, lapit sa oritgas and maybe makati... ngayong ang madalas sabihin samin nung nagbebenta eh baha pero acceptable. napansin ko din is yung mga bahay eh naka-angat talaga. a sign na talagang nagbabaha.

haayyy... can't decide kung bibilhin ko yung lupa.

  16. #96
house namin sa Country Homes, gusto mo bilhin? meron ding lot kung gusto mo and near the lot is an alternative route (exit) to Brookside Hils Subdivision.

aajao sipag mo naman pala you still manage before to attend church services..

  18. #98
oh yes. baha lang yan eh. God expects us to be there pag church days. eh pag tayo nga ang humiling sa "Kaniya", hindi "Niya" naman sasabihing, "Anak, bukas ko na ibibigay yung hinihiling mo kase may bagyo ngayon."

sa'n ka sa exactly sa Taytay? I used to work there, sa highway sa DIGITEL office.

  19. #99
oh well, tama ka nga dyan..

sa town proper ako nakatira, if you happen to know the infamous "quatro cantos" medyo malapit na kami dun, kaya binabaha rin lalo na pagbagyo tsaka traffic din madalas.
