    Hello guys,

I just got my BPI Credit Card classic. It's my first credit card and the reason I got this is just for emergency purposes. Sana lang hehe

Will there be any repercussions if I do not use the card immediately?

I would assume that If I don't use the card, I won't have to pay anything every month right? (I know it's a stupid question..)

Newbie in terms of Credit Card. It's really for emergency talaga cause I prefer cash when purchasing.

    Thanks in advance.

nakakairita ang BPI, ha! ayaw pa din nila iwaive yung annual fee ko. nung una, ang rason nila is hindi ko na-meet yung required monthly purchases. ngayon, confidential naman daw ang reason. huh? bakit naging confidential?

BPI still refuses to waive my annual fee

^^ I think you need to be a long time user of the card and with good credit standing. I seem to remember asking them what I need to have it waived and they told me that I should be at least been a client for 10 years. They also asked me details on any BPI accounts.

What do you mean by saying "points"? Is it like a "reward" or something?

    Hmmmm...

  7. #87

Kumusta nga pala yung request mo for reversal? Tumawag ka na ba sa customer service nila? Okay ba raw?

  10. #90
I rarely use my bpi petron card since I got my citi premiere miles card but when I called bpi to have my annual fee reverse, no problem whatsoever.

when i applied for a credit card, they issued me a secured card first... they asked me to deposit 100USD security but they gave me a credit limit of 500USD...parang it's a way daw to start your credit history..then after a year, they gave back the 100USD deposit and my secured card was transformed to a real credit card...they also increased my credit limit to 2T USD.

To the fact sa call center ka nag wowork - no offense meant, but don't expect any credit card to come. All credit card companies (not only BPI) have agreed to ban any call center employees to have credit card regardless their employment is permanent or contractual. Baka tanungin niyo uli kung bakit may nakikita kang ibang peers mong may credit card - that's because nung nag apply sila, the agreement of not issuing credit card sa call center employees was not yet applicable. Bakit na-dedecline? Kasi most of the call center people doesn't know how pay their dues. Sagad-sagad kung gumamit, tapos di malalaman ng issuing bank na that employee is no longer connected dun sa call center - with that, di na sila mahahabol - though nasa negative databank na yung card holder. Kaya pati yung ibang cc employees na may good intentions / discipline in using credit card, damay din....

i have my BPI credit card for 9 mos. now, call center pako nung nag apply ako las year, first time ako nag apply at approve naman agad.. so somehow na aapprove parin naman kahit call center agent ka.. wag naman tayo mag generalize...

    peace...

No. Charges like finance, late, and annual fees do NOT earn points.
