    Feedback about CITYLIMITS

Its a bit OFF-Topic but it concerns office workers especially those who have availed of Citibank Credit Card.

I received a call and told me that he's from Paragon Excel and started discussing na makakareceived daw ako ng package and so on and so forth, he started discussing this so call privilege card thing and the med benefits. He didn't tell me about any charging until such time na nagtanong ako if I have to pay anything. Worst of all the caller didn't stipulate na OPTIONAL yun na parang wala kang choice but to claim it! They claimed to be an affiliate of Citibank and they have your personal information!! They do have your Credit Card No. and other information... which is a bit alarming.

Anyone who availed of this one? Ano experience nyo?.

Hello, I have a similar experience before.

(the hell I care?! charge me 100X at magccharge-back sa kanila yun dahil I did some preventive measures to ensure I wont get charged, thanks to someone from citibank.) Pinasa pa sa girl na one of the heads 'daw'. I have all the right to decline now! ang sabe na girl na naiirita na saken 'wag nyo pong gawing dahilan ang personal reason na yan para magdecline kayo!' That is against the privacy of the card holders kasi. Natahimik ng sandali yung kausap ko na head DAW. tapos sabi I'll just get back to you later!

(the hell?!) ano alam nyo sa law?! (ang bobo bobo talaga nya, hindi ba nya alam na interface lang yung bangko sa card issuer, the card issuer has all the right to decline any charging to the client. I-charge nila maghapon magdamag yung card ko tignan natin kung may makuha sila kahit piso)

Kung naka-experience kayo neto magpost kayo dito. We can coordinate with DTI or sa Diner's Association in the Philippines at ipaalam na nagagamit yung privileges nila para makagoyo ng mga tao. (Yes malamang may contract ang CityLimits at mga dining establishments for the agreement on the discount pero kung malalaman nila na may irregularities at pangloloko ang CityLimits sa magrecruite ng mga members syempre its a reason for them to withdraw their privilege offers sa CityLimits) And also kelangan mag-investigate ang Citibank kung paano nakakalabas ang PERSONAL, PRIVATE at CONFIDENTIAL information ng mga card holders nila.

    Baka may mga makakatulong dito

Anyone from the government? from DTI? from any diner's association?

    tumawag din sila sa akin!

Someone called me in the office siguro 2 weeks ago lang! Sabi nila recorded pa nga daw yung conversation namin. WEIRD! They mentioned that there's a package/membership card whatever which will arrive daw via courier. Hay nako..

I asked them where they got my phone number & then they told me na they have a system from their VISA/MASTERCARD partners. The person I talked to informed me that they called me because of my good credit standing (loyal daw) with my visa/mc c cards. Then I asked them, "Talaga? Saan, anong credit card?". Then they told me na Citibank Visa daw... tapos I asked them kung yun lang ba... tapos sabi nila yung lang nga yung asa system nila. Eh hello, I haven't even activated my Citibank credit card!! Pauso! Pano kaya naging-loyal?!! SCAM!

When I asked the person kung anong website nila, nag-madali siya to dictate it to me then immediately hung up the phone!!! What the...

I checked their website (forgot the link though), and my gosh, it's a cheap marketing website na mukhang low budget.

    Kakainis!!!

Paragon Excel, former EMS (Executive Marketing Service)
i've been a client of this company and they have offered me this discount card called Premiere Advantage Plus. the transaction happened over the phone. i still remember the sales associate name, i won't mention na lang. so she explained everything though talaga medyo nakaka convince since she says that this is a lifetime membership and you an avail some x% discounts. so she ask me about my credit card number. i gave it to her. we agreed naman. then i received this card with the booklet. i noticed na yung mga establishments eh parang di akma saken. anyway, i made this transaction so pinangatawanan ko na ang naisip ko sige sulitin ko na lang since lifetime naman. actually nagamit ko na sya. ala naman ako naging problem. so one day i come to think why they stopped giving me updates. so i called my consultant to ask her about some updates but i think the line is already dead. i tried ilang days ulit, same thing. after a month or so, same pa rin. dun na ako naghinala na baka victim na ako ng panloloko. but still, nagamit ko pa ito, wala pa rin naman problem. they still honor this discount card.

then one night, i was ready to sleep na and my family is watching XXX in channel 2. i heard this EMS company. so i checked it on T.V. they have a partner, it's an insurance company but i think di un included sa package ko but still, yung pinaka complaint nagfocus dun. so this insurance company eh maraming biktima na nagbabayad sa kanila pero di pala sila authorized to issue pre-need plans. then, about this EMS, nalaman ng XXX na lumipat na pala ng office to. actually me naiwan pa raw silang malaking utang na rent sa building. so natakasan nila yun pati mga clients nila. ang lagay eh ganun ganun na lang. then, they changed there name pala to Paragon Excel, i don't know how they trace it pero na trace nila. they explained pa raw na they're trying to contact their clients. malas ko pala di ako kasama.
i hope mabantayan pa ang company na to. ingat na rin kayo at try not to avail transactions over the phone. don't give ur credit card number. charge to experience ko na lang.

    Citylimits Metro Care Marketing Services

yeah naloko rin ako ng mga lecheng ito. i think they changed their name na to METRO CARE MARKETING SERVICES. They have a new gimik. They will tell you that the payment can be deferred in 2 years. This is of course a huge lie. ich-charge nila yun on your next bill. I even tried to call them pero bobolahin lang kayo sa phone. Pag may tumawag sa inyo na ganon, just ignore them. What the hell. I always pay in full noh. Mga kulugo sila.

Just ignore them na lang. Don't ever ever give your credit card number.

    actually, i've same experience...

someone called me din in my office and offered me citylimits card but they told me naman na may processing fee pero one time lang daw un at nung winelcome din ako nung project manager nila, kinonfirm nga *** amount at kung kelan magbibill sakin.

in my case sulit sakin yung card kasi yung mga gift certificates na kasama nung pacakage pinanregalo ko kaya nakatipid ako and everytime na may bonding kami ng mga friends ko nagagamit namin yung discounts sa hotels and restaurants na affiliated sa kanila. actually, nagamit ko din to nung nagbday party *** pamangkin ko kaya so far naman ala naman akong problema sa card.

my friend has been a card holder of this citylimits for 3yrs. although yung nakalagay na validity sa card is 2yrs lang pero they still honor the card kaya nga ako natuwa sa card na to.

  13. #13

    yeoh

hi, actually i have the same experience as well.. kakarating *** ng card ngaung umaga. mukang ngang cheap pero sabi naman ni jay012 eh natutuwa siya sa card dahil marami na siyang naavail na discounts whatsoever.

so mukang ok naman... siguro napaparanoid lang tayo sa mga nababasa naten na scam scam. i just wont think about it nalang muna.. anways. im just wary about the fee.. baka kasi machargan pa ko sa mga succeeding months.. hmmmm..

tanong ko lang sana kay jay012 kung 1 time bigtime lang *** nagbayad ng fee? or did they charged your card on the succeeding months after charging the one time fee? or kahit sa kung sino man jan ang tinuloy naman yung card availment nila? totoo ba na 1 tym lang *** magbayad?

    please reply.

Sans their deceiving methods of wooing customers, I don't think there's nothing wrong with the business.

You pay and you get discounts from many establishments.

I think for someone who likes to go out and spend their money like there's no tomorrow, this is quite a good deal for them.

But I have to agree, they should be transparent with their clients.

damn... City Limits... i was tricked by this one, this time they said affiliated sila ng Standard Chartered and they did say that billing was going to be spread out for 2 yrs, my only mistake was that i did not double check the charge slip,, and yes, i tried calling the company and wala as if they don't care and sabi nila di daw ganuon ang style ng pag benta nila... haiiissttt, be careful na lang...
