ZERO-Based grading System

Letran suddenly shifted to Zero-Based system this sem from base-60% without properly informing students. This is applied in all courses.

What are your reactions?

ok sana ito pero bakit naman ganun? biglaan, ni hindi man lang nila pina-alam sa students na papalitan nila yung base-60 to zero base. basta ngayon, kailangan todo aral na ang mga students, di na pwede yung katulad dati na petiks mode.

Buti naman naisip na nila 'yan. IMO mabuti na rin 'yan para mapaalis na sa Letran yung mga dapat alisin. Ok rin 'yung may prelims.

actually, the ZERO-based grading system is a good training for students. makes them aim higher and work harder..


the only problem is that not only students will have to work their heads. the profs also needed to adjust to give "mercy" to the students who are "deserving"....

so tell me, how is that supposed to get rid of the good-for-nothing students?

It may sound tough for us students but it may be a way to improve Letran's quality of education. Sacrifices should really be done.

Dapat noon pa nila ginawa ito. Of course, disadvantageous for students at first look, but it will redound to the benefit of the student as well as the school itself. Its all a matter of discipline and time management among the students.

Let us see. Yung cousin ko nga sobrang tutok ngayon kasi baka matanggal siya sa HM kapag bumaba grades niya. Almost 50% ang tinanggal sa kanila last year.

aysus..pabayaan nyo na ang letran.. marerealize din nila na wrong move gnwa nila pag wala ng natirang studyante sa letran hehe.. pero sa kabilang banda maganda yung mga iho at iha.. sayang nga at di ko naabutan yan.. marerealize nyo un pag grumaduate na kayo.. grumaduate ka nga parang wala ka nmn natutunan.. pumapasa sa mga e kci sir gn2 eh, sir cge na di na ko aabsent.. sir last chance. sir graduating po ako ipasa nyo na po ako pls.hehe makes sense, cum to think of it.. mahirap lang sa una but at the end of the day it will all pay off.. trust me hehehe
